Universal Mouse Reference RNA for QuantiGene Assays

Universal Mouse Reference RNA is an RNA extract used as a positive control in QuantiGene assays. The Universal Mouse Reference RNA is composed of total RNA from 11 mouse cell lines:

• Embryo
• Embryo, fibroblast
• Kidney
• Liver, hepatocyte
• Lung, alveolar macrophage
• B-lymphocyte
• T-lymphocyte (thymus)
• Mammary gland
• Muscle myoblast
• Skin
• Testis

Equal quantities of DNase-treated total RNA from each cell line were pooled to make the universal control.
