Description:
Standard Bore

Get significant increases in resolution and throughput using the world's first modular ion chromatography (IC) system capable of operation up to 5000 psi. The Thermo Scientific™ Dionex™ ICS-6000 Standard Bore and Microbore System can operate continuously at up to 5000 psi when configured as a Reagent-Free™ IC (RFIC™) system. Get higher resolution using smaller particle size (4μm) columns, faster run times without sacrificing needed resolution using higher flow rates and 150mm columns, or higher resolution with standard flow rates and 250mm columns. The ability to configure this flexible, modular system for an unmatched variety of applications.

Outstanding sensitivity plus convenience
  • Excellent sensitivity, stability, and ease of use
  • Enhanced baseline stability and sensitivity with top-of-the-line flow rate accuracy, eluent generator electronics stability, and conductivity cell temperature control
Optimized peak resolution with a choice of isocratic and electrolytic gradient separations
  • Flexible support for microbore (1–3mm i.d.) and standard bore (3–7mm i.d.) columns
  • Wide variety of Thermo Scientific standard and microbore columns
  • Compatible with New 4μm Columns
Separations twice as fast without compromising resolution
  • Significantly increased resolution from current methodologies at increased flow rates
  • Higher resolution and dramatically better performance using smaller particle size (4μm) columns
  • Faster run times with higher flow rates using 150mm columns, or higher resolution with standard flow rates using 250mm columns
Outstanding flexibility to configure the system you need

Frequently asked questions (FAQs)

What kind of support will I get for my Dionex ion chromatography system?

We provide comprehensive support. Our specialists act as trusted advisors and share industry expertise. They understand that purchasing an IC instrument is also purchasing a relationship, and they strive to provide the level of service and support that laboratories need.

What validation services do you offer for the Dionex ICS-6000 HPIC System?

We offer a full range of validation services and kits for the Dionex ICS-6000 product line, including Installation Qualification (IQ) and Operational Qualification (OQ) procedures. All validation kits include detailed procedures, calibration tools, data worksheets, methods, and validation certificates.

What are the automated sample preparation capabilities of the Dionex ICS-6000 HPIC System?

The Dionex ICS-6000 HPIC system offers the most comprehensive suite of sample preparation features along with the ability to combine them into a single workflow. The system can perform filtration, dilution, matrix elimination, and pre-concentration when paired with our portfolio of autosamplers, in-line and offline cartridges, electrolytic water purifiers (EWPs), and trap and concentrator columns.

How does the Dionex ICS-6000 HPIC System handle trace analysis?

The system is ideal for 2D-IC analysis, which is particularly important when performing trace analysis in the presence of high concentrations of interfering matrix ions. This technique achieves improved selectivity and signal enhancement without complicated automated sample preparation.

What advantages does the Dionex ICS-6000 HPIC system offer for carbohydrate analysis?

The system enables direct detection of simple to complex carbohydrates using electrochemical analysis without sample derivatization (HPAE-PAD). The Dionex ICS-6000 HPIC system offers the widest variety of elution techniques for carbohydrate analysis, including proportioned gradients and dual eluent generation. Using Dual EGC mode, the Dionex ICS-6000 HPIC system can also generate potassium hydroxide/potassium methanesulfonate (KOH/KMSA) eluents for simple to complex carbohydrate analysis by adding just deionized water.
