120 V
Determine trace oxygenates and octane enhancers in spark-ignition engine fuel and refinery streams according to ASTM methods using Thermo Scientific™ TRACE™ 1610 GC Analyzers. Easy to implement, the TRACE 1610 GC Analyzers for oxygenates are preconfigured, method tested, and ready to analyze samples after installation.

Simplify gasoline and light hydrocarbon streams analysis with the Thermo Scientific™ TRACE™ 1610 Analyzers for Oxygenates, based on a multidimensional GC configuration to perform the separation of target oxygenates. The Thermo Scientific™ Chromeleon™ Chromatography Data System (CDS) is used to acquire and analyze chromatography data and generate customer-specific reports.

Dedicated configurations are available for specific sample and ASTM standard methods. All systems utilize automated backflush of stripper column to prevent hydrocarbon contamination of the column for oxygenates, increasing robustness and performance.

TRACE 1610 GC for Oxygenates by ASTM D7423

  • Single channel GC analyzer for quantitative determination of oxygenates in C2, C3, C4, and C5 streams by multidimensional gas chromatography and flame ionization detection according to ASTM D7423

TRACE 1610 GC for Oxygenates by ASTM D7754

  • Single channel GC analyzer for the determination of trace oxygenates in automotive spark-ignition engine fuel as defined in ASTM D7754. The method used is a multidimensional gas chromatographic method using 1,2-dimethoxy ethane as the internal standard.

TRACE 1610 GC for Oxygenates in Gasoline by ASTM D4815

  • Single channel GC analyzer for the determination of MTBE, ETBE, TAME, DIPE, tertiary-Amyl Alcohol and C1 to C4 Alcohols in Gasoline as specified in the ASTM D4815.

Built to maximize productivity and uptime

  • Systems features i-Connect injector and detector modules removing downtime for troubleshooting and maintenance
  • Heated sample bulkheads help ensure complete sample transfer
  • Automated injection for liquid samples
  • Optimized system footprint to reduce benchspace requirement
