ARP (Aldehyde-Reactive Probe) es una hidroxilamina biotinilada que reacciona con el grupo de aldehído expuesto formado en sitios abásicos en ADN dañado. Las biotinas ligadas a los sitios abásicos se pueden cuantificar con complejos fluorescentes o de estreptavidina conjugados con enzimas. ARP es adecuado para su uso en ensayos de microplacas.
