VetMAX™ PRRSV 3.0 Reagents

VetMAX PRRSV 3.0 Reagents contain master mix, Xeno RNA control, and a primers/probes mix that enable multiplex, one-step, reverse transcription and real-time PCR (RT-PCR) assays targeting North American (NA) and European (EU) porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus (PRSSV) RNA and Xeno RNA. The Xeno RNA control (10,000 copies/μL) is added during extraction as an internal positive control (IPC). These reagents contain an updated primer/probe mix compared to the similar VetMAX NA and EU PRRSV 2.0 Reagents.

PRSSV causes significant losses in the swine industry due to reproductive disorders, respiratory conditions, and growth retardation. PRRSV can be identified in blood and semen. Real-time PCR is the most sensitive method for analyzing RNA amplification.
