H₂S Colorimetric Assay Kit

The Hydrogen Sulfide (H₂S) Colorimetric Assay Kit is a highly reliable and sensitive assay designed for the quantitative measurement of H₂S in serum, plasma, and tissue samples. In this assay H₂S reacts with an acetate solution to create soluble ZnS, where, in the presence of Fe³⁺, methylene blue is formed (which has a maximum absorption peak at 665 nm). The concentration of iron can be indirectly calculated by measuring the OD value.
