Comply with regulatory environmental programs on greenhouse gas emission (GHG) monitoring with the Thermo Scientific™ TRACE™ 1610 Greenhouse Gas Analyzer. The systems are available in flexible configurations to cover different sample matrices such as air, water, soil, or organic material.

Rely on the performance and robustness of Thermo Scientific™ TRACE™ 1610 gas chromatography systems configured for the analysis of greenhouse gases emitted by environmental samples. These systems can be used to analyze air samples, as well as water, soil, or organic materials by headspace sampling through the optional Thermo Scientific™ TriPlus™ RSH SMART autosampler and additional iConnect SSL injector.

Preconfigured and method tested, these systems make it easy to analyze your samples. Each system is delivered with pre-installed methods and a complete documentation package, including a start-up guide, troubleshooting tips, a plumbing diagram, and a spare parts and consumables list for easy ordering.

Two systems to choose from:

  • Two channels with two detectors ECD and methanizer-FID
    • Methanizer-FID detects methane (CH4) and CO2 after converting to CH4 in the methanizer
    • ECD detects nitrous oxide (N2O). This channel can be used to detect SF6 at sub-ppt levels
  • Two channels with three detectors: ECD, TCD, and methanizer-FID
    • A TCD detector is added to the above configuration, in series with the methanizer-FID to detect high levels of CO2
