El reactivo Remel BactiDrop Spot Indole de Thermo Scientific™ se utiliza para la determinación de la capacidad de los microorganismos para separar el indol de la molécula del triptófano mediante el método de pruebas de puntos.
Spot Indole Reagent is used to determine the ability of microorganisms to split indole from tryptophan molecule by spot test method. Tryptophanases are intracellular enzymes that mediate indole production by hydrolysing the amino acid, tryptophan. This indole combines with DMACA to form a blue-green compound. This is a condensation product formed by an acid splitting of the protein.Ready to use: Liquid reagent.Easy to interpret: Positive results (blue color) are easy to differentiate from negative results (pink color).Spot Indole Reagent contains 1% w/v ρ-dimethylaminocinnamaldehyde (CAS 6203-18-5) in hydrochloric acid (concentrated) (CAS 7647-01-0) and demineralized water (CAS 7732-18-5) supplied in 25 mL bottles.Not all products are available for sale in all territories.
