Oxoid™ PrecisBlue Supplement

Thermo Scientific™ Oxoid™ PrecisBlue Supplement is a selective supplement that may be used in the preparation of Buffered Peptone Water (BPW) (ISO) (CM1049B or equivalent performing) for the selective enrichment of Salmonella species and Cronobacter species in food and environmental samples as part of the Thermo Scientific™ Precis™ and Thermo Scientific™ SureTect™ species PCR detection methods.

One vial is designed to supplement a total of 18 L (or 80 x 225 mL) of BPW.

• Novobiocin supplement with inert blue dye provides a visual reference for easy identification of diluted samples that have been supplemented.
• Easy-to-use format ideal for high throughput laboratories – one dilution step for processing up to 80 x 25 g diluted samples at a ratio of 1:10.
