Wheat 100, Ultra-Filtered (UF), is hydrolyzed wheat gluten protein that has been digested for enhanced peptide content, resulting in a low concentration of free amino acids and carbohydrates. It is an ultra-filtered supplement and is ideal for mammalian cell culture applications.

Wheat 100, UF, contains glutamine that is associated with peptides, making it a stable source. This helps minimize the ammonia generation compared to the addition of free glutamine in cell culture media. Wheat 100, UF, can also be used to enhance growth and production in microbial applications.

Wheat 100, UF, is also part of the Gibco Peptone Preview Pak, which features our new wheat, cotton, soy, and yeast peptones. These peptones provide unique nutritional profiles compared to other cell culture supplements. The Preview Pak includes five 100 gram samples*.

*The Gibco Peptone Preview Pak is non-GMP. Larger GMP packaging sizes are available.
