Quant-iT™ 1X dsDNA Assay Kits, high sensitivity (HS) and broad range (BR)

Catalog number: Q33232
Make DNA quantitation easy and accurate in a ready-to-go 1X formulation with the Quant-iT 1X dsDNA HS (High-Sensitivity) and Quant-iT 1X dsDNA BR (Broad Range) Assay kits. Both kits provide a ready-to-use working solution. Simply load your sample, add the Qubit 1X dsDNA HS or BR working solution, and read the concentration using a fluorescence-based microplate reader.

The Quant-iT 1X dsDNA HS and BR Assay kits are highly selective for double-stranded DNA (dsDNA) over RNA, providing an accurate and precise method for the quantification of dsDNA samples. To perform the assay, dilute your sample (any volume from 1–20 μL is acceptable) into the 1X working solution provided, then read the concentration using a fluorescence plate reader.

The Quant-iT 1X dsDNA HS Assay Kit is accurate for initial sample concentrations ranging from 10 pg/μL to 100 ng/μL, providing a core detection range of 0.2 ng to 100 ng of DNA in the assay tube. The Quant-iT 1X dsDNA BR Assay Kit is accurate for initial DNA sample concentrations of 200 pg/μL to 4000 ng/μL (depending on sample volume), providing a detection range of 4–4000 ng of DNA.

Common contaminants such as salts, free nucleotides, solvents, detergents, and protein are well tolerated in the dsDNA assays. The '1X' dsDNA assay kits provide reagent and buffer in a ready-to-use formulation and are highly selective for dsDNA over ssDNA, RNA, and protein.
