Tantalum(V) methoxide

Tantalum(V) methoxide is used in the synthesis of tantalum hydride. Silica-supported alkoxo-tantalum complexes were used in the deperoxidation of cyclohexyl hydroperoxide into cyclohexanol and cyclohexanone.
