Transfer fluids in the lab or field using Thermo Scientific™ Nalgene™ PPCO Mason Jars with Closure. The 70mm neck on these bottles fits various blenders, as well as fixtures and closures with Mason jar threads. Made from high-quality, laboratory-grade plastic materials for reliably low leachables and extractables. These shatterproof jars are a valube asset to lab safety programs.
- 70mm neck designed to fit fixtures or closures with Mason Jar threads or with Osterizer™ or other blenders with the same threads
- Wide mouth is easy to fill or sample
- Compatible with Nalgene fluid transfer closure DS2153-0700
- Autoclavable
- Manufactured from non-toxic materials
- Polypropylene screw closures
- Replacement closures may be ordered separately (Cat. No. 712154-0700)
- Completely disengage threads or remove cap before autoclaving.
- Mason jars are not liquid leakproof. Not recommended for liquid transport
Recycling Information:
Nalgene reusable polypropylene(PP) and polypropylene copolymer (PPCO) bottles are designed to last many years under typical laboratory conditions. Yet, as with all durable products, they need to be retired and replaced eventually. These bottles and their packaging are recyclable in many communities. Please recycle the corrugate cartons and LDPE bags in which your Nalgene bottles products are packaged. And at end of product life, please wash and recycle your Nalgene PP and PPCO bottles if services are available in your community.
