Made of chemical resistant polypropylene material with superior mechanical strength, these plates conform to standard 96 well footprint compatible with high throughput sample processing.

Any vacuum manifold (for 96-well microplates) with an inside depth of 4 cm or more should be fine.

Are the Nunc 96 Deep Well Filter Plates chemically resistant?

Yes. The polypropylene plate material naturally resists chemicals and organic solvents, as does the polyethylene terephthalate (PET) frit and glass fiber filter. For very strong chemicals, prolonged exposure times, and/or higher temperatures, we recommend that you test the plates with the chemical or solution in question.

Do I have to exactly follow the recommended protocol with Nunc 96 Deep Well Filter Plates?

The protocol is designed to be flexible, depending on customer needs and instrumentation. For example, certain steps can be performed with vacuum filtration, centrifugation, or positive pressure, with similar results.
