No. we do not recommend placing compression pads on the Fast 96-well plate or the StepOnePlus, ViiA 7, 7300, 7500, 7900HT, or 7500 Fast Real-Time PCR Systems.

Can the MicroAmp Optical Adhesive Film be used with MicroAmp Optical Tubes?

No. The Optical Adhesive Film is recommended for use only with the MicroAmp Optical 96-well Reaction Plate (with or without barcode) and MicroAmp 384-well Optical Reaction Plate.

How many times can a MicroAmp Optical Film Compression Pad (Cat. No. 4312639) be used?

With proper usage, the compression pad should maintain performance for a minimum of 20 PCR runs. It is important to examine the pad before each run, especially after more than 20 uses, as deteriorated compression pads may lead to evaporation and failed reactions.
