CaptureSelect™ HRP Anti-VSVG Conjugate

CaptureSelect HRP Anti-VSVG Conjugate consists of a 13-kDa recombinant single domain antibody fragment (V_HH affinity ligand) that binds with high affinity and selectivity to the ectodomain of VSVG (the glycoprotein (G) of vesicular stomatitis virus).

The affinity ligand is chemically conjugated to horseradish peroxidase (HRP) via an appropriate spacer that fully retains the binding reactivity of the ligand. This HRP conjugate enables the detection of free VSVG protein and membrane-bound VSVG, as displayed on vesicular stomatitis virus or VSVG pseudo-typed viruses and extracellular vesicles (EVs).

To set up a sensitive sandwich ELISA to quantitate free VSVG protein and VSVG-bearing particles, we recommend the use of CaptureSelect HRP Anti-VSVG Conjugate as detection reagent in combination with CaptureSelect Biotin Anti-VSVG Conjugate (Cat. No. 7104082100). This Biotin Anti-VSVG conjugate targets a different, non-competitive epitope on VSVG and can easily be immobilized onto streptavidin-coated surfaces to serve as a capture reagent in ELISA.
