Assess the performance of nucleic acid test procedures for the determination of BKV DNA, cytomegalovirus (CMV) DNA, Epstein-Barr Virus (EBV) DNA, human herpes virus 6 (HHV-6) DNA, herpes simplex virus 1 and 2 (HSV-1 and HSV-2) DNA and varicella-zoster virus (VZV) DNA with the Thermo Scientific™ AcroMetrix™ Multi-Analyte Transplant Control (RUO). The control is for Research Use Only and is not for use in diagnostic procedures.

Routine use of external run controls enables laboratories to monitor day-to-day test variation, lot-to-lot performance of test kits, and operator variation and can assist in identifying increases in random or systematic error.
