Applications
It is used as an active pharmaceutical intermediate. It is also used in the synthesis and characterization of photoelectronic polymers containing triphenylamine moiety and in the palladium-catalyzed conversion of aryl and vinyl triflates to bromides and chlorides.

Sparingly soluble in water at 25°C 3.6E-3 g/L.

Light sensitive. Store away from light and oxidizing agents. Keep the container tightly closed and place it in a cool, dry and well ventilated condition.
