The Attune NxT Acoustic Focusing Cytometer was designed to allow users to easily customize the instrument's optical layout to meet experiment needs or panel requirements.

Features and benefits

Installation simplicity with direct access dichroic mirrors and emission filters at top of instrument
Correct orientation facilitated through unique keyed design so they cannot be installed in the wrong direction
Visualization of filter location with color coding for laser excitation and numbers for appropriate location

Dichroic mirrors are specialized optical components that are used to reflect and direct light to ensure that emitted light from a sample is detected by the detectors. These mirrors come in in two main types: long pass and short pass.

Emission filters are designed to selectively permit the passage of specific wavelengths of light emitted by a fluorescent sample, while blocking other wavelengths, especially the excitation light.

Unable to find the optical filter that you need? The Attune NxT Custom Filter Holder Kit allows you to make custom emission or dichroic filters in order to customize the optical configuration of the instrument. Each kit contains sufficient parts to make two emission filters and two dichroic filters. The kit includes instructions for attaching the filter to the filter blade but does not include the glass filter.
