Sodium deoxycholate monohydrate is used as a solubilization agent for estrogen synthetase from human placental microsomes. It is also used to study the immobilization of lipoxygenase in an alginate-silicate gel matrix and to investigate the in vitro dissolution of gall stones.

Applications
