Remel™ Phenol Red Solution

Detect the production of acids from a carbohydrates contained in a culture medium with Thermo Scientific™ Remel™ Phenol Red Solution, a colorimetric indicator. Phenol Red changes color at a pH nearly optimal for most organisms (pH 6.8 to 8.4). It turns yellow under acidic conditions while it turns red under alkaline conditions.
