The panel of assays in the TaqMan® Array 96-well Human Estrogens Plate targets genes which code for enzymes involved in synthesis of estrogens and the estrogen receptors whose expression mediates the effects of estrogens. The panel also includes genes which are targets of estrogen signaling. Several genes associated with androgens are also included in the panel due to their close associations with estrogen synthesis and function.
