The Adipogenesis array targets key genes involved in mature adipocyte differentiation and maintenance including the major genes implicated in the formation and interaction of white and brown adipose tissue (WAT and BAT). Included are essential genes for hormones, adipokines, enzymes, transcription factors (particularly PPAR gamma and the C/EBP family) and signal transduction ligands for WAT and BAT adipogenesis.
