This EGFR (ErbB1) G719C recombinant human protein (672–end) was expressed in insect cells. EGFR receptor tyrosine kinase is a transmembrane glycoprotein. Binding of epidermal growth factor to EGFR induces receptor dimerization and tyrosine autophosphorylation and leads to cell proliferation, differentiation, motility, and cell survival. Activation of EGFR triggers mitogenic signaling in gastrointestinal mucosa, and its expression is upregulated in colon cancers and most neoplasms. Activation of EGFR triggers activation of the ERK-signaling pathway in normal gastric epithelial and colon cancer cell lines. Inactivation of EGFR with selective inhibitors significantly reduces ERK2 activation, c-fos mRNA expression and cell proliferation. DDR2 Recombinant Human Protein

DDR2 is a member of a subclass of RTKs and contains a distinct extracellular region encompassing a factor VIII-like domain. DDR1 and DDR2 have been shown to be potently inhibited by Gleevec.

FGFR2 is a member of the FGFR family of receptor tyrosine kinases. This family is known to regulate a host of cellular functions including angiogenesis, mitogenesis, osteogenesis, myogenesis, carcinogenesis, cellular differentiation, and tissue repair after injury. The FGFR family has also been implicated in a number of diseases including cancer, rheumatoid arthritis, and diabetic retinopathy.

CSK Recombinant Human Protein

CSK is a tyrosine kinase that has been shown to downregulate the activity of SRC oncoprotein through phosphorylation of its carboxy terminus. Since cell transformation by SRC is caused by various mechanisms that interfere with this phosphorylation, the CSK gene might function as an antioncogene.

Bruton tyrosine kinase (BTK) is a cytoplasmic tyrosine kinase belonging to the SRC-related TEC subfamily of tyrosine kinases. Mutations in the BTK gene have been linked to severe developmental blocks in human B-cell ontogeny and immunodeficiency disorders.

PIK3CB/PIK3R1 (p110β/p85α) is a phosphoinositide-3-kinase (PI3K) comprised of a catalytic subunit, p110β, and a regulatory subunit, p85α, encoded by the PIK3CB and PIK3R1 genes respectively. As with other members of the PI3K family, p110β has important regulatory roles in cellular processes including cell survival, proliferation, and differentiation. It affects growth factor signaling and survival by phosphorylating inositol lipids. PTEN-deficient cancer cells have been observed to depend on p110β signaling.

PRKACB (PRKAC beta) Recombinant Human Protein

The catalytic subunit C-beta of PKA (PRKACB) is a member of the Ser/Thr protein kinase family (the PKA catalytic subunit consist of three gene products: C-alpha, C-beta, and C-gamma) and has been assigned to human chromosome region 1p36.1. PRKACB is derived from a gene distinct from C-alpha and shows tissue-specific expression. At the amino acid level C-alpha and C-beta showed 93% homology. Recombinant full-length human PRKACB was expressed by baculovirus in Sf9 insect cells using a N-terminal GST tag.
