It is involved in the regulation of cell growth and survival, including roles in apoptosis, cell-cell adhesion, cytoskeleton remodeling, and differentiation.

Purified—purity is determined by gel electrophoresis and provided in lot-specific certificate of analysis (COA).

AXL [R499C] Recombinant Human Protein

AXL, a transforming gene isolated from primary human myeloid leukemia cells, encodes a novel receptor tyrosine kinase which is a member of the TAM (TYRO3/AXL/MER) receptor tyrosine kinase subfamily. AXL represents a unique structure of the extracellular region that juxtaposes IgL and FNIII repeats and Axl transduces signals from the extracellular matrix into the cytoplasm by binding growth factors like vitamin K-dependent protein growth-arrest-specific gene 6. AXL is involved in the stimulation of cell proliferation and can also mediate cell aggregation by homophilic binding. Recombinant human AXL R499C (473-end) was expressed by baculovirus in Sf9 insect cells using an N-terminal GST tag.

PEAK1 Recombinant Human Protein (Invitrogen™)

This PEAK1 recombinant human protein (1127–end) was expressed in insect cells. PEAK1 cytoplasmic tyrosine kinase or Pseudopodium-enriched atypical kinase 1 is a protein tyrosine kinase which belongs to NKF3 kinase family and regulates the cytoskeleton and has been shown to be involved in cancer progression. PEAK1 promotes anchorage-independent growth in the MDA-MB-435 human cancer cell line and promotes tumor progression of XPA-1 human pancreatic cancer cells when transplanted into the pancreas of nude mice. TNK1 may function in signaling pathways utilized broadly during fetal development, and more selectively in adult tissues. TNK1 plays a negative regulatory role in the Ras-Raf1-MAPK pathway, and knockout mice have been shown to develop spontaneous tumors, suggesting a role as a tumor suppressor gene.
