LYN B Recombinant Human Protein

LYN is a SRC family kinase expressed predominantly in hematopoietic cells. Activation of LYN has been shown to lead to imatinib resistance in CML patients. LYNB and the slightly shorter LYNA are the two isoforms of LYN.

FYN A Recombinant Human Protein

Fyn A (Fyn isoform A) is a member of the SRC tyrosine kinase oncogene family showing high homology to YES1, FGR and SRC. Fyn has been shown to phosphorylate Dab1, an intracellular adaptor protein that interacts with amyloid precursor protein (APP) and apoE receptor 2 (apoEr2). The interaction of Fyn and Dab1 regulates the phosphorylation, trafficking, and processing of APP and apoEr2. Fyn expression has been shown to be significantly increased in Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia (CML). Knockdown of Fyn with shRNA slows leukemia cell growth, inhibits clonogenicity, and leads to increased sensitivity to imatinib. Full-length recombinant human FYN A was expressed by baculovirus in Sf9 insect cells using an N-terminal GST tag.

ABL1 [E255K] Recombinant Human Protein

The ABL1 proto-oncogene encodes a cytoplasmic and nuclear protein tyrosine kinase that has been implicated in processes of cell differentiation, cell division, cell adhesion, and stress response. The E255K mutant is a Gleevec resistant form of ABL1.

PEAK1 Recombinant Human Protein (Invitrogen™)

This PEAK1 recombinant human protein (1127–end) was expressed in insect cells. PEAK1 cytoplasmic tyrosine kinase or Pseudopodium-enriched atypical kinase 1 is a protein tyrosine kinase which belongs to NKF3 kinase family and regulates the cytoskeleton and has been shown to be involved in cancer progression. PEAK1 promotes anchorage-independent growth in the MDA-MB-435 human cancer cell line and promotes tumor progression of XPA-1 human pancreatic cancer cells when transplanted into the pancreas of nude mice. PEAK1 is highly expressed in spleen, followed by heart, ovary, brain, lung, kidney, and fetal brain. PEAK1 recombinant human protein is also available in our SelectScreen™ Kinase Profiling Service.

FYN is a SRC-related kinase expressed in brain, skeletal muscle and adipose tissues. Fyn functions in a large number of pathways and has been shown to play a role in memory.

FRK (PTK5) Recombinant Human Protein

AXL, a transforming gene isolated from primary human myeloid leukemia cells, encodes a novel receptor tyrosine kinase which is a member of the TAM (TYRO3/AXL/MER) receptor tyrosine kinase subfamily. AXL represents a unique structure of the extracellular region that juxtaposes IgL and FNIII repeats and Axl transduces signals from the extracellular matrix into the cytoplasm by binding growth factors like vitamin K-dependent protein growth-arrest-specific gene 6. AXL is involved in the stimulation of cell proliferation and can also mediate cell aggregation by homophilic binding. Recombinant human AXL R499C (473-end) was expressed by baculovirus in Sf9 insect cells using an N-terminal GST tag.
