This PIK3CA E542K/PIK3R1 (p110 alpha E542K/p85 alpha) recombinant human protein (full length) was expressed in insect cells. PIK3CA E542K/PIK3R1 (p110 alpha E542K/p85 alpha) lipid kinase is comprised of a 110 kDa catalytic subunit and an 85 kDa regulatory subunit. A number of isoforms of the 110 kDa catalytic subunit and the 85 kDa regulatory subunit exist in cells. PIK3CA is frequently mutated or amplified in a variety of cancers including ovarian and colon and this kinase is one of the PI3K mutants. PIK3CA gene copy number is increased in over 30% of ovarian cancers and this leads to increased PI3-kinase activity. PIP4K2A Recombinant Human Protein (Invitrogen™)

This PIP4K2A recombinant human protein (full length) was expressed in insect cells. PIP4K2A lipid kinase or phosphatidylinositol-5-phosphate 4-kinase, type II, alpha, is a member of the phosphatidylinositol-5-phosphate 4-kinase family that catalyzes the phosphorylation of phosphatidylinositol-5-phosphate on the fourth hydroxyl of the myo-inositol ring to form phosphatidylinositol-4,5-bisphosphate. PIP4K2A plays as essential role in the phosphoinositide signal transduction cascades as the precursor to second messengers and is involved in the regulation of secretion, cell proliferation, differentiation, and motility. PIP5K1A Recombinant Human Protein (Invitrogen™)

This PIP5K1A recombinant human protein (full length) was expressed in insect cells. PIP5K1A lipid kinase or phosphatidylinositol-4-phosphate 5-kinase 1 alpha phosphorylates phosphatidylinositol-4-phosphate to form phosphatidylinositol 4,5-bisphosphate. PIP5K1 is required for Wnt3a-induced LRP6 phosphorylation at ser1490 in mammalian cells. Wnt3a stimulates the formation of phosphatidylinositol 4,5-bisphosphates through 'frizzled' and 'dishevelled', the latter of which directly interacts with and activated PIP5KI. PIP5K1A-mediated PIP(2) production is crucial for HIV-1 entry and the early steps of infection in permissive lymphocytes. Overexpression of wild-type PI4P5K1A increases HIV-1 Env-mediated PIP(2) production and enhances viral replication in primary lymphocytes. PIK3CG (p110 gamma) Recombinant Human Protein

PIK3CG (p110 gamma) is the sole class IB phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase family member, which along with the class IA family members, generates the important second messenger PIP2. However, unlike the class IA enzymes which signal downstream of receptor tyrosine kinases, PIK3CG primarily signals downstream of GPCRs.

PIP5K1B gene contains 17 exons and spans more than 300 kb. The seventeenth exon was found by RT-PCR, and is derived from the 3-prime untranslated region of the PRKACG gene which is located on 9q13 approximately 3 kb downstream of the STM7.I 3-prime untranslated region. The overexpression of PIP5K1B in COS-7 cells induces an increase in short actin fibers and a decrease in actin stress fibers. PI4K2B lipid kinase is a member of the phosphatidylinositol 4-kinase family (PI4K) that phosphorylate phosphatidylinositol to generate phosphatidylinositol 4-phosphate which are immediate precursor of several important signaling and scaffolding molecules. PI4K2B is primarily a cytosolic PI4K that is recruited to membranes where it stimulates phosphatidylinositol 4,5-bisphosphate syntheses. PIP5K1C Recombinant Human Protein (Invitrogen™)

PIP5K1C lipid kinase or phosphatidylinositol-4-phosphate 5-kinase 1 gamma phosphorylates phosphatidylinositol-4-phosphate to form phosphatidylinositol 4,5-bisphosphate. PIP5K1C is found at synapses and has been found to play roles in endocytosis and cell migration. PIK3C2G lipid kinase belongs to the phosphoinositide 3-kinase (PI3K) family which play major roles in signaling pathways and are involved in cell proliferation, oncogenic transformation, cell survival, cell migration, and intracellular protein trafficking. PIK3C2G contains a lipid kinase catalytic domain as well as a C-terminal C2 domain, a characteristic of class II PI3-kinases that act as calcium-dependent phospholipid binding motifs which mediate translocation of proteins to membranes, and may also mediate protein-protein interactions. PIK3C3 (hVPS34) Recombinant Human Protein

PIK3C3 (hVPS34) is the sole class III member of the PI3 Kinase family. PIK3C3 phosphorylates phosphatidylinositol (PI) to produce phosphatidylinositol 3-phosphate [PI(3)P], which recruits downstream effectors containing FYVE and Phox domains to membranes. PIK3C3 is involved in coupling nutrient signaling to mTOR and also plays a role in autophagy and intracellular trafficking.
