TaqMan™ RNase P Instrument Verification Plate for 7900HT System, 384-well (Applied Biosystems™)

The Applied Biosystems® TaqMan® RNase P 384-Well Instrument Verification Plate is used to verify the performance of the Applied Biosystems® 7900HT Fast Real-Time PCR System. The TaqMan® RNase P 384-Well Instrument Verification Plate is a 384-well PCR plate preloaded with the necessary reagents to detect and quantitate genomic copies of the human RNase P gene, a single-copy gene encoding the RNA moiety of the RNase P enzyme. Each well contains preloaded reaction mix (1X TaqMan® Universal PCR Master Mix, RNase P primers, and FAM™ dye–labeled probe) and template.
The TaqMan® RNase P Instrument 384-Well Instrument Verification Plate satisfies the same requirements as the Applied Biosystems® 7900 HT Real-Time PCR Systems installation. To pass installation, the instruments must demonstrate the ability to distinguish between 5,000 and 10,000 genomic equivalents with a 99.7% confidence level for a subsequent sample run in a single well. To ensure accurate results, Applied Biosystems® recommends that the performance of your instrument be verified every six months.

SYBR™ Green Dye Spectral Calibration Plate, 96-well (Applied Biosystems™)

This SYBR® Green dye spectral calibration plate can be used to maintain your ViiA™ 7, QuantStudio™ 6 Flex, QuantStudio™ 7 Flex, or QuantStudio™ 12K Flex system with 96-well block. This plate establishes the pure dye spectra and multicomponent values for ABY™, JUN™, and MUSTANG PURPLE™ dyes on Applied Biosystems™ QuantStudio™ 3 and 5 96-well 0.1-mL real-time PCR systems. It enables simultaneous multiple dye calibrations in one plate, significantly reducing effort and time required for dye calibration. In addition, the formulations of the dyes in this plate improve results with multiplexing by more accurately representing the fluorescent spectra of the respective probes in your real-time PCR experiments. Luminex 200™ Performance Verification Kit (Invitrogen™)

The Luminex 200 Performance Verification Kit is for use with the Luminex 200 System and contains xMAP controls used to verify calibration of the MagPlex and MicroPlex classification channels and reporter channel. Fluidic controls are included for early detection, as well as a lot-specific CD for importing target values. The kit is intended to be used with the Automated Maintenance Plate (AMP). Stripwells for the AMP are included with each kit. Each kit will provide 25 verifications.

FocalCheck™ Thin-Ring Fluorescent Microspheres Kit, 1.0 µm, three suspensions (Invitrogen™)

The FocalCheck Thin-Ring Fluorescent Microspheres Kit is specifically designed to help researchers examine the alignment, sensitivity and stability of confocal laser scanning microscopes. We have treated the microspheres in this kit with dyes to stain the surface of each bead, resulting in a well-defined dye layer that creates a ring in optical sections. These microspheres produce a striking visual representation of instrument misalignment or other optical aberrations, making them ideal tools for optimizing the performance of confocal microscopes. Each suspension in the kit contains beads with a different color configuration. One suspension contains beads with two ring stains (green and red). The second suspension contains beads that have a green ring stain and a dark red stain throughout. The beads in the third suspension have a red ring stain and are stained blue throughout.

DS-31 Matrix Standard Kit (Dye Set D) (Applied Biosystems™)

This kit contains 4 oligonucleotides respectively labeled with 6-FAM™, VIC®, NED™, and ROX™, pre-pooled in a single tube. Suitable for Dye Set D spectral calibration, on ABI PRISM® Analyzers: 3100-Avant™, 3100, and 3730. Supports 4-Dye fragment analysis applications (Linkage Mapping Set v2.5, Mouse Mapping Primers).

The DS-31 Matrix Standard Set is used to generate the "multicomponent matrix" required when analyzing labeled DNA fragments on the Applied Biosystems® 3130 and 3100 Series Systems, 3700 DNA Analyzer, and 3730 Series Systems. CountBright™ Absolute Counting Beads, for flow cytometry (Invitrogen™)

CountBright™ absolute counting beads are a calibrated suspension of microspheres that are brightly fluorescent across a wide range of excitation and emission wavelengths (UV to 635 nm excitation and 385-800 nm emission). CountBright™ absolute counting beads are mixed with the cell sample and assayed via flow cytometry. By comparing the ratio of bead events to cell events, absolute numbers of cells in the sample can be calculated. Because CountBright™ beads are mixed in the test sample, absolute cell counts using this single-platform method are more accurate and less complicated than cell concentration determined using multiple-platform testing. CountBright™ absolute counting beads can be used with any sample type, including no-wash/lysed whole blood.

The sharp ring stains exhibited by the 6.0 µm FocalCheck™ fluorescent green/orange/dark-red ring stained microspheres produce a striking visual representation of instrument misalignment or other aberrations making them ideal as reference standards for confocal laser-scanning microscopy. 3500 Dx Series Sequencing Standard, BigDye™ Terminator v1.1 (Applied Biosystems™)

This BigDye® Terminator v1.1 sequencing standard consists of four tubes, each of which contains DNA of a known 1,200 base pair sequence prepared with BigDye® Terminator v1.1. Sufficient DNA is included to perform one spectral calibration/performance check and/or one control sequencing run on an Applied Biosystems® 3500 Dx Series genetic analyzer. The DNA preparation has been lyophilized to maximize stability.

DS-33 Matrix Standard Set for the 310 Genetic Analyzer (Applied Biosystems™)

The dye-labeled oligonucleotides included in the Matrix Standard Set DS-33 [6-FAM™, VIC®, NED™, PET®, and LIZ®] are used to generate the "multi-component matrix" required for the ABI PRISM® 310 Genetic Analyzer under denaturing applications.

The 310 instrument Data Collection Software then utilizes the multicomponent matrix to automatically correct the spectral overlap in samples labeled with DS-33 dyes. Matrix standards do not need to be run with every set of sample injections. This set of five matrix standards only need to be run once to generate a matrix file which is then applied to samples run under similar conditions. AbC™ Total Antibody Compensation Bead Kit (Invitrogen™)

The AbC™ Total Antibody Compensation Bead Kit provides a consistent, accurate, and simple-to-use technique for the setting of flow cytometry compensation when using fluorochrome-conjugated mouse, rat, hamster, or rabbit antibodies with any laser in flow cytometry.

Accurate compensation is crucial for effective multicolor analysis in flow cytometry. How it works
Each kit provides polystyrene microspheres that have fluorescent antibody conjugate capture capacity (positive compensation beads) or are inert (negative compensation beads). After mixing with a fluorophore-conjugated mouse, rat, hamster, or rabbit antibody, the two components provide a distinct high-signal positive control with an appropriate negative population that can then be used to set compensation properly regardless of the intensity of the cells in the actual experiment.

Broadest multispecies reactivity
The AbC™ Total Antibody Compensation Bead Kit is ideal for compensation with all isotypes of mouse (IgG1, IgG2a, IgG2b, IgG3, IgM), rat (IgG1, IgG2a, IgG2b, IgG2c, IgM), hamster (Armenian IgG and Syrian IgG), and rabbit (monoclonal and polyclonal) immunoglobulins.
