VIC™ Matrix Standard for the 310 Genetic Analyzer (Applied Biosystems™)

A dye-labeled matrix standard is required to calibrate GeneScan® software for each dye (blue, green, yellow, and red) used in GeneScan® applications. When VIC® dye-labeled primers are used as green primers in any application, the VIC® Matrix Standard is required. The VIC® Matrix Standard replaces HEX™ or JOE™ (other green dyes) Matrix Standards in existing kits. VIC® Matrix Standard should never be used with HEX™ or JOE™ Matrix Standards. For 310 Genetic Analyzer only. VIC® Matrix Standard can be used in conjunction with Fluorescent Amidite Matrix Standards [6-FAM™, TET™, HEX™, TAMRA™, ROX™] and NED™ Matrix Standard to analyze 6-FAM™, VIC®, NED™ and ROX™-labeled DNA fragments that constitutes dye set D in fragment analysis applications.

FocalCheck™ Microspheres, 6 µm, fluorescent green/orange/dark-red ring stains (Invitrogen™)

The sharp ring stains exhibited by the 6.0 µm FocalCheck™ fluorescent green/orange/dark-red ring stained microspheres produce a striking visual representation of instrument misalignment or other aberrations making them ideal as reference standards for confocal laser-scanning microscopy. Correct image registration is indicated when the multiple ring images are perfectly coincident in all dimensions.

NED™ Dye Spectral Calibration Plate, 384-well (Applied Biosystems™)

This kit is used for NED™ spectral calibration of your ViiA™ 7, QuantStudio™ 6 Flex, QuantStudio™ 7 Flex, or QuantStudio™ 12K Flex system with a 384-well block. Please see your instrument maintenance guide for full instructions on use.

These calibration kits are used to maintain your real-time PCR system with 384-well block. They include calibration plates to perform a spectral calibration with FAM™, VIC®, ROX™, SYBR® Green, TAMRA™, NED™ dyes, plates to perform region-of-interest (ROI) calibration, normalization calibration, and to run an RNase P verification. TetraSpeck™ Microspheres, 4.0 µm, fluorescent blue/green/orange/dark red (Invitrogen™)

The 4.0 µm TetraSpeck™ microspheres are stained throughout with four different fluorescent dyes, yielding beads that each display four well-separated excitation/emission peaks - 360/430 nm (blue), 505/515 nm (green), 560/580 nm (orange) and 660/680 nm (dark red). These microspheres can greatly facilitate the calibration of conventional fluorescence microscopes, confocal laser scanning microscopes, and associated image-processing equipment for both scientific and commercial imaging, especially for multicolor applications.

DS-33 Matrix Standard Kit (Dye Set G5) (Applied Biosystems™)

The Matrix Standard Kit is used to generate the "multicomponent matrix" required when analyzing 6-FAM™, VIC®, NED™, PET®, and LIZ®- labeled DNA fragments on the Applied Biosystems® 31xx, 3500 and 3730 Series Systems. The Data Collection Software for these instruments uses the multicomponent matrix to automatically analyze the five different colored fluorescent dye-labeled samples in a single capillary.
