5500 W Buffer H (Applied Biosystems™)

5500 W Buffer H is used for paired-end sequencing on the 5500 W Series genetic analyzers. 5500 W Buffer H contains sufficient reagents to run up to 360 cycles, or 60 cycles per lane for 6 lanes.

SOLiD™ FWD Buffer, Double (Applied Biosystems™)

SOLiD™ FWD Buffer, Double is used for fragment, mate-paired, and paired-end runs, for ligation sequencing in the forward direction. This buffer must be used with the SOLiD™ FWD SR Kit. This buffer contains sufficient material to run 900 to 1212 cycles, or up to 101 cycles per lane.

The SOLiD™ Buffers are used for ligation sequencing on the 5500⁄5500xl Genetic Analyzer. The “Main" kits are the primary kits necessary for typical sequencing runs.

Double-sized buffers have sufficient reagents for covering two FlowChips.

5500 W Buffer G is needed for ligation sequencing on the 5500 W Series genetic analyzers. Supplemental buffers like this one can be used to replace components of the main buffer kit. 5500 W Buffer G contains sufficient reagents to run up to 432 cycles, or 72 cycles per lane for 6 lanes.

SOLiD™ Buffer B, Double (Applied Biosystems™)

SOLiD™ Buffer B, Double (PN 4463021) consists of SOLiD™ Buffer B Part 1 and SOLiD™ Buffer B Part 2, which need to be mixed prior to running on the instrument. SOLiD™ Buffer B, Double (PN 4463021) contains sufficient reagents to run 950 to 1632 cycles, or up to 136 cycles per lane.

The SOLiD™ Buffers are needed for ligation sequencing on the 5500⁄5500xl Genetic Analyzer. These kits are individually orderable components of the SOLiD™ Run Cycle Buffer Kit (PN 4461840). Supplemental buffers can be used to replace components of the main buffer kit. Each double size has sufficient buffer for covering two FlowChips.

SOLiD™ Buffer F, Double, v2 (Applied Biosystems™)

SOLiD™ buffers are needed for ligation sequencing on the 5500/5500xl Genetic Analyzer. These buffers are individually orderable components of the SOLiD™ Run Cycle Buffer Kit. This double size buffer has sufficient quantity for two FlowChips.

SOLiD™ Buffer F, Double, v2 contains sufficient reagents to run 950 to 1632 cycles or up to 136 cycles per lane. SOLiD™ Buffer F, Double, v2 comes at a 10X concentration and must be diluted to 1X before use.

5% PITC (phenylisothiocynate) in heptane is used for N-terminal protein sequencing applications. PITC is a derivatization reagent used to tag amino acids in the protein sequencer and amino acid analyzer. An optimal PITC concentration is required to ensure efficient amino acid coupling with minimal background contribution from excess reagent. This reagent is used in conjunction with other protein sequencing reagents.
