PrioCHECK™ S. dublin Ab Strip Kit

The PrioCHECK® Salmonella Antibody bovine ELISAs are the first commercially available tests for monitoring and surveillance of Salmonella infections in cattle herds. The tests allow fast and versatile detection of anti-Salmonella antibodies in serum, plasma, and milk samples. Both ELISAs follow an easy 4-step protocol. Results are available within 150 min, making the tests highly suitable for screening and monitoring programs for bovine salmonellosis.

The PrioCHECK® Salmonella Antibody ELISA Dublin detects S. dublin more specifically, but not exclusively. Some cross-reactivity with S. typhimurium can occur. Both tests are suitable for large-scale screening of serum, plasma, and (bulk) milk samples.

Test Procedure
Test samples are incubated in plates coated with the purified Salmonella antigen at room temperature. Plates are then washed and an anti-bovine antibody labeled with an enzyme that generates a color signal is added. The signal is measured and if color develops the sample is positive for anti-Salmonella antibodies. Color intensity is directly related to the amount of anti-Salmonella antibody present in the test sample.

PrioCHECK™ Calf Enteritis Ag Feces Kit

Two-well antigen-capture ELISA kits enable sensitive and specific detection of pathogens in animal samples, allowing for reliable and rapid screening and detection of infected animals.

How the kit works:

1. Samples are added to the microplate coated with anti-pathogen antibodies. If present in the sample, specific antigen binds to the anti-pathogen antibodies and form antigen-antibody complexes.
2. After washing, an anti-pathogen peroxidase-labeled conjugate is added, which binds to any antigens attached to the plate.
3. After a second washing, a chromogenic substrate is added. Color development results from oxidation of the substrate by the conjugated peroxidase.
4. After stopping the reaction, results are read using an ELISA plate reader. Positive samples will show color. The amount of color in each well is proportional to the amount of specific antigen in the sample.

PrioCHECK™ Bovine BVDV PIfocus Ag Strip Kit

The PrioCHECK® BVDV Antigen PIfocus kit is a diagnostic solution, based on ELISA technology, that detects persistently infected cattle with high accuracy. The ELISA can detect the BVDV-antigen in ear tissue samples and can differentiate between persistently infected (PI) and acutely infected animals. The PrioCHECK® BVDV Ag PIfocus assay is a rapid, sensitive, and highly specific test for the detection of PI-animals that demonstrate the BVDV p80 antigen. The method for BVDV antigen detection is a sandwich ELISA giving a signal proportional to the sample antigen concentration. The antigen test detects the BVDV using two monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) that recognize different epitopes on the highly conserved NS3 non-structural protein (p80) of BVDV. One of these mAbs is labelled with an enzyme that generates a color signal. The sample is positive when color has formed.

PrioCHECK™ PRV gB Antibody ELISA Kit

The PrioCHECK® PRV gB ELISA is a blocking ELISA that detects antibodies against the Pseudorabies virus (PRV) glycoprotein B in pig serum samples. The samples are incubated in a microtiter plate coated with an inactivated PRV antigen. After washing, the plates are incubated with a monoclonal antibody (mAb) directed against an epitope located on glycoprotein B (gB) of the PRV. This mAb is pre-labeled with an enzyme that generates a color signal. The signal is measured and when no color is formed the sample contains anti-PRV antibodies that competed for the PRV antigen. With this result, the sample is positive for PRV.

PrioCHECK™ Porc. Salmonella Ab 2.0 Strip Kit

The PrioCHECK® Salmonella Antibody 2.0 ELISA is a fast, effective, and economical test for large-scale screening of pigs and for application in control programs of Salmonella infections. The PrioCHECK® Salmonella Antibody 2.0 ELISA uses purified lipopolysaccharide (LPS) O-antigen of S. Typhimurium and S. Choleraesuis. This makes the PrioCHECK® Salmonella Antibody 2.0 ELISA specific for the serogroup B, C1, and D (the most common serotypes in Europe, Asia, and America).

Test procedure
The PrioCHECK® Salmonella Antibody 2.0 ELISA is an indirect ELISA for the detection of antibodies against Salmonella LPS O-antigens 1, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 12 found in pig serum, plasma, and meat juice samples. These TaqMan® assay beads provide a simple, reliable, and rapid method for detecting the presence of a specific bacterial or viral target. PrioCHECK™ Porcine Trichinella Ab Strip Kit

The PrioCHECK® Trichinella Antibody ELISA is a highly sensitive and specific ELISA for the detection of antibodies against Trichinella in serum and meat juice samples of pigs. No cross reactivity with commonly found pig parasites has been observed.

Test procedure
The PrioCHECK® Trichinella Antibody ELISA is a diagnostic kit based on ELISA technology. It follows a four-step protocol consisting of sample preparation, sample incubation, conjugate incubation, and detection. Serum or meat juice samples are incubated in an ELISA plate coated with the Trichinella E/S antigen. Anti-Trichinella antibodies present in the sample bind to the antigen. Plates are then washed and an anti-swine antibody labeled with horse radish peroxidase (HRP) is used to detect antibodies bound to the E/S antigen. Color development using mittels tetramethyl-benzidine (TMB) substrate measured optically at a wavelength of 450 nm shows the presence of antibodies directed against Trichinella spp.

PrioCHECK™ Brucella Antibody 2.0 ELISA Kit, strip

The PrioCHECK® Brucella Antibody 2.0 ELISA is an indirect ELISA for the detection of antibodies against Brucella abortus and Brucella melitensis in the serum and milk of cattle, sheep, and goats. The test meets EU requirements and OIE standards. The PrioCHECK® Brucella Antibody 2.0 ELISA procedure consists of 4 steps. In the first step, serum samples and milk samples are dispensed in the coated wells of a microtiterplate. Antibodies, directed against Brucella abortus and Brucella melitensis, present in the test sample, will bind to the antigen during incubation. The bound antibodies are detected using an anti-Ig monoclonal antibody, conjugated to an enzyme that generates a color signal. Color development will occur when specific antibodies against Brucella abortus or Brucella melitensis are present in the test sample. Color development indicates the presence of Brucella antibodies in the sample.

PrioCHECK™ CSFV Erns Antibody ELISA Kit, strip

The PrioCHECK® CSFV Erns ELISA is a blocking ELISA specifically designed to detect pigs infected with the Classical Swine Fever Virus when vaccinated with the CSFV E2-subunit vaccine. The test is based on the blocking, by specific serum antibodies, of the binding between the Erns-specific monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) and the Erns-protein. The PrioCHECK® CSFV Erns ELISA should only be used as a discriminating serological test in pig populations vaccinated with an E2-subunit vaccine. The test has been developed for detection in herds by testing an adequate number of randomly selected animals from each herd.

The PrioCHECK® CSFV Erns ELISA uses two different mAbs directed against different epitopes of the Erns protein of CSFV. Antibodies in the sample are incubated with the CSFV Erns antigen. The antibody-antigen complex is then allowed to bind to an anti-CSFV mAb coated to a plate. A second mAb labeled with an enzyme that generates a color signal (the detection antibody) is then added. The signal is measured and when no color is formed, antibodies in the sample have competed for the available viral protein. With this result, the sample is positive for CSFV.
