DS-02 Matrix Standard Kit for the 31xx, 3500/xl, and 3730/xl DNA Analyzers (Applied Biosystems™)

The dye-labeled oligonucleotides included in the Matrix Standard DS-02 set (dR110, dR6G, dTAMRA™, dROX™, and LIZ®) are used to generate the 'multicomponent matrix' required for the SNaPshot® Multiplex Kit. The Data Collection software utilizes the multicomponent matrix to automatically correct for the spectral overlap in samples labeled with DS-02 dyes. The kit consists of one tube of matrix standard which is sufficient for a minimum of eight array runs (on a 24 capillary) or two array runs (on a 96 capillary).

Matrix standards do not need to be run with every set of sample injections. The standard only needs to be run once in order to generate a matrix file which is then applied to samples run under similar conditions. Used with 3100, 3130/3130xl, 3500/3500xl, 3730/3730xl, and SeqStudio Genetic Analyzers and the SNaPshot Multiplex Kit.

GeneScan™ 400HD ROX™ dye Size Standard (Applied Biosystems™)

The GeneScan™ 400HD ROX™ Size Standard is a ROX™ dye-labeled size standard for the reproducible sizing of fragment analysis data. The standard contains 21 ROX™ dye-labeled DNA fragments.

GeneScan™ 400 HD ROX™ Size Standard is designed for sizing DNA fragments in the 50-400 nucleotides range and provides 21 labeled fragments of: 50, 50, 90, 100, 120, 150, 160, 180, 190, 200, 220, 240, 260, 280, 290, 300, 320, 340, 360, 380 and 400 nucleotides. The sizing curve generated from these fragments make the GeneScan™ 400 HD ROX™ Size Standard ideal for a variety of fragment analysis applications such as Microsatellites, Fragment Length Polymorphisms and Relative Fluorescent Quantitation. Each of the DNA fragments is labeled with the ROX™ fluorophore.

3500/3500xL Sequencing Standards, BigDye™ Terminator v1.1 (Applied Biosystems™)

The BigDye® Terminator v1.1 sequencing standard kit contains four tubes, each of which contains enough DNA of a known 1200 base pair sequence prepared with BigDye® Terminator v1.1 to perform one spectral calibration⁄performance check and⁄or one control sequencing run on the Applied Biosystems® 3500 Series Genetic Analyzer. The DNA contained in the preparation has been lyophilized to maximize stability.

DS-33 GeneScan™ Installation Standards with GeneScan™ 600 LIZ™ Size Standard v2.0 (Applied Biosystems™)

The DS-33 GeneScan™ Installation Standard consists of pooled PCR products labeled with 6-FAM™, VIC®, NED™ and PET® dyes. To generate the pooled products, CEPH individual 1347-02 genomic DNA has been amplified with 8 fluorescent PCR primer pairs which amplify selected microsatellite loci (as listed in the package product insert). The kit also contains a tube of GeneScan™ 600 LIZ™ Size Standard 2.0.

Matrix Standard Set DS-02 for the 310 Genetic Analyzer (Applied Biosystems™)

The dye-labeled oligonucleotides included in the Matrix Standard Set DS-02 (dR110, dR6G, dTAMRA™, dROX™, and LIZ® dyes) for the 310 system are used to generate the multicomponent matrix required for the SNaPshot® Multiplex System on the 310 Genetic Analyzer.

The 310 Data Collection software then utilizes the multicomponent matrix to automatically correct for the spectral overlap in samples labeled with DS-02 dyes. Matrix standards do not need to be run with every set of sample injections. This set of five matrix standards only needs to be run once in order to generate a matrix file which is then applied to samples run under similar conditions. For more information on the use of matrix standards, please refer to the instrument User's Manual.

This matrix standard is to be used on 310 Genetic Analyzer only.

DS-31 Matrix Standard Kit (Dye Set D) (Applied Biosystems™)

This kit contains 4 oligonucleotides respectively labeled with 6-FAM™, VIC®, NED™, and ROX™, pre-pooled in a single tube. Suitable for Dye Set D spectral calibration, on ABI PRISM® Analyzers: 3100-Avant™ and 3100. Supports 4-Dye fragment analysis applications (Linkage Mapping Set v2.5, Mouse Mapping Primers).

The DS-31 Matrix Standard Set is used to generate the "multicomponent matrix" required when analyzing labeled DNA fragments on the Applied Biosystems® 3130 and 3100 Series Systems and 3700 DNA Analyzer. The Data Collection Software for these instruments uses the multicomponent matrix to automatically analyze the four different colored fluorescent dye-labeled samples in a single capillary.

The DS-37 Matrix Standard Kit (Dye Set J6-T) is used to perform the spectral calibration required to analyze 6-FAM™, VIC™, TED™, SID™, TAZ™, and LIZ™ dye-labeled DNA fragments on the Applied Biosystems 3130 and 3500 series systems. The data collection software for these instruments uses the multi-component matrix to automatically analyze the 6 differently colored fluorescent dye-labeled samples in a single capillary. The DS-37 Matrix Standard Kit (Dye Set J6-T) contains 6 specific sizes of a unique fluorescent dye label.

The Fluorescent Amidite Matrix Standards are used to generate the multicomponent matrix required when analyzing 6-FAM™, TET™, HEX™, TAMRA™ and ROX™-labeled DNA fragments. The standard can be used on the Applied Biosystems 310 Genetic Analyzers. DS-36 Matrix Standard (Dye Set J6) (Applied Biosystems™)
