SOLiD™ Pre Deposition Plus Kit (Applied Biosystems™)

The SOLiD® Pre Deposition Plus Kit features all the necessary components for depositing templated beads onto a slide for ligation sequencing, along with reagents for performing a 3'-end modification reaction on templated beads prior to deposition. This kit is fully compatible with the 5500 and 5500xl Genetic Analyzers, as well as the SOLiD® 4 System.

The SOLiD® Pre Deposition Plus Kit contains sufficient material for these EZ Bead™ System scale outputs:

Multiple E10 (125M beads)/E20 (250M beads) scale runs

SOLiD® Pre Deposition Plus Kits are scalable and flexible. Each kit works with templated beads prepared at any scale using the SOLiD™ EZ Bead™ System or manual methods. Each kit supports fragment, whole transcriptome, and mate-paired libraries.

Each SOLiD® Pre Deposition Plus Kit is comprised of two boxes. The first box contains terminal transferase enzyme, terminal transferase buffer, cobalt chloride solution, and bead linker. The second box holds TEX buffer and Low TE buffer. Box 1 requires storage at -15°C to -25°C. Box 2 can be stored at ambient temperature.

The Ion 550 Chip Kit contains four (Cat. No. A34537) or eight (Cat. Ion S5™ Calibration Standard (Ion Torrent™)

The Ion S5™ Calibration Standard is a small panel consisting of known sequence content with comprehensive and uniform representation of long homopolymers up to 10-mers. The Ion S5 Calibration Standard can be used in conjunction with the Ion 520™ and Ion 530™ workflows for de novo research sequencing applications to allow for greater accuracy of base-calling.

SOLiD™ EZ Bead™ Emulsifier E120 Reagents Kit (Applied Biosystems™)

The SOLiD™ EZ Bead™ Emulsifier combines an aqueous phase with an oil phase, creating an emulsion that contains microreactors containing the necessary reagents and components for amplifying the library of interest onto a solid surface, namely beads. This process takes up to 30 minutes to complete, depending on the desired bead yield.
