Countess™ Cell Counting Chamber Slides (Invitrogen™)

Countess® Cell Counting Chamber Slides are designed for use with the Countess® Automated Cell Counter. This set includes 50 boxes of slides (50 slides per box) and a 100 mL bottle of trypan blue (0.4%).

Ready to Use For Your Convenience
Countess® Cell Counting Chamber Slides are presterilized and individually packaged for your convenience. Each slide has two separate, enclosed chambers that can be used to count one sample in duplicate or to count two different samples. Cell counting occurs in a central location of the counting chamber. The volume counted is 0.4 µL, the same as counting four 1-mm2 squares in a standard hemocytometer. After use, Countess® slides can be disposed of with your regular biohazard waste. Unlike a hemocytometer, there is no need to clean Countess® slides before or after use.

The Countess® Automated Cell Counter works in 3 simple steps:
1. Mix 10 µL of sample with 10 µL of trypan blue, and pipet into a disposable Countess® chamber slide.
2. Insert the slide into the instrument.
3. Press the "Count cells" button.

That’s it—get the total cell count, percent viable cells, and average cell size in as little as 30 seconds.

The Tali® Cellular Analysis Slides are specifically designed for use with the Tali® Image-Based Cytometer. Each slide contains two separate, enclosed analysis chambers designed to accommodate 25 µl of sample per chamber. Each box contains 50 slides.

Ready to Use for Your Convenience
Each Tali® Cellular Analysis slide is pre-sterilized and individually packaged. Since the Tali® Image-Based Cytometer is a fluorescent cellular analysis instrument the slides are composed of low fluorescent plastic. The slides are disposable; after use the slides can be disposed of with you regular biohazard waste.

Countess™ II FL Automated Cell Counter Starter Package (Invitrogen™)

The Countess™ II FL Automated Cell Counter is a benchtop assay platform equipped with state-of-the-art optics, full autofocus, and image analysis software for rapid assessment of cells in suspension. With three-channel flexibility—brightfield and two optional fluorescence channels—researchers can count cells, monitor fluorescent protein expression, and measure cell viability. This Countess II FL Starter Package contains the Countess II FL Automated Cell Counter, two of the most popular EVOS™ light cubes (GFP and RFP), disposable and reusable slides to maximize convenience and minimize cost, as well as trypan blue stain.

Get accurate cell counts
The Countess II FL Automated Cell Counter uses trypan blue staining combined with an auto-focus mechanism and sophisticated image analysis algorithm to obtain accurate cell and viability counts. The measurement range extends from 1 × 104 to 1 × 107 cells/mL (the optimal range is 1 × 105 to 4 × 106 cells/mL), which is broader than that of a hemocytometer. The optimal cell size is 10–60 µm.

Simple operation with fluorescent application versatility
Operated using an intuitive user interface, automated cell counting with the Countess II FL instrument gives you the data you need to prepare your sample for the next passage or experiment, and allows you to multiplex with a variety of fluorescent dyes and proteins excited via EVOS light cubes.

Transfer data and images to your PC
Using the USB port on the Countess II FL Automated Cell Counter and any USB drive, you can save your cell count results and images and transfer them to your PC. (For your convenience, a USB drive is supplied with the Countess II FL instrument.)

Countess™ Automated Cell Counter IQ/OQ User-Performed Test Procedures (Invitrogen™)

In regulated laboratories (typically GxP and ISO), compliance with government and international standards requires documented verification that systems are installed and functioning according to their operational specifications. This IQ⁄OQ (Installation Qualification⁄Operational Qualification) User-Performed Test Procedures package provides you with test procedures to qualify that your Countess® Automated Cell Counter is installed and operating to manufacturer’s specifications. Procedures should be performed during installation or before a previously-installed system will be used in a regulated test environment.

Package includes a bound, printed copy of test procedures. Directions for performing the test procedures can be found in the instrument user manual.

Countess™ Test Beads (Invitrogen™)

Countess® Test Beads are designed to help users verify that their Countess® Automated Cell Counter is counting and sizing cells within the expected ranges. Countess® Test Beads are latex beads with a nominal diameter of 10 µm ±10% and are supplied as a suspension containing 1 × 106 beads/mL ±10%.
