Attune™ NxT External Fluid Supply Invitrogen™

The Attune™ NxT External Fluid Supply is an accessory for the Attune™ NxT Acoustic Focusing Cytometer. It was designed to facilitate the use of a larger buffer and waste container. The system works by monitoring and supplying the internal fluid tanks on the Attune NxT instrument so that the system can run without having to stop instrument operation to change out the fluid tanks or empty the waste. The external fluid system uses the 10 L cube of Attune™ Focusing Fluid (Cat. No. A24904) and a Nalgene™ waste bottle. The external fluid supply is ideal for use with the Attune™ NxT Autosampler and enables the collection of approximately 28 96-well or 7 384-well plates without changing the fluid tanks.

Attune™ NxT Violet 6 Conversion Kit for Red Laser Invitrogen™

The Attune NxT Violet 6 Conversion kits are designed to reconfigure Attune NxT four-channel violet instruments to allow detection of six channels of violet. A conversion kit is required for each original and any upgraded lasers of the instrument. The conversion is carried out by a Field Service Engineer.

Attune™ NxT Acoustic Focusing Cytometer, blue/red/yellow, refurbished Invitrogen™

This is a refurbished Attune NxT Acoustic Focusing Cytometer, which is an easy-to-use instrument designed to detect cell size and granularity, as well as fluorescence expression of labeled antibodies, proteins, and functional reagents. The innovative design of the instrument results in precise data and acquisition speeds up to 10X faster than other flow cytometers. The design also eliminates lengthy sample preparation procedures, reduces the time to analyze a file, allows small or limited samples to be analyzed, and minimizes variability in measurements, leading to better resolution of populations. It is ideal for immunophenotyping and signaling studies, cell cycle analysis, detection of rare events, stem cell analysis, cancer and apoptosis studies, and microbiological assays.

The instrument's modular design accommodates the most common fluorophores and fluorescent proteins used in flow cytometry enabling alignment with previous experimental results and accommodating future needs through simple upgrades. Acoustic focusing improves efficiencies compared to traditional flow cytometers
Traditional flow cytometers rely on a large volume of fluid to focus cells prior to analysis, resulting in extensive sample preparation prior to analysis and introducing the possibility of error due to artifacts created during the sample preparation process. With the Attune NxT Acoustic Focusing Cytometer, blood samples can be run without being manipulated using the No-Wash No-Lyse blood cell assay. The instrument also offers flexibility in the sample concentration that can be analyzed.

The Attune NxT Acoustic Focusing Cytometer Autosampler is an add-on accessory compatible with Attune NxT Acoustic Focusing Cytometer models designed for use with this device (Cat. Nos. A24858, A24859, A24860, A24861, A24862, A24863, A24864, A28993, A28995, A28997, A28999, A29001, A29002, A29003, A29004). The Attune NxT Autosampler enables rapid processing of multiple samples by automatically analyzing samples from 96-, 384-, and deep-well plates. An Attune NxT Autosampler Accessory Kit is included. A computer is not included with the autosampler, as it is included with the cytometer itself.

Reliable
The Attune NxT Autosampler was designed to minimize system down time. Automated sampling devices are often plagued by clogging or probe crashes. The Intelligent Probe, with a 200-micron diameter that is larger than most probes available in the industry, minimizes instances of clogging.

To prevent probe crashes, which may require expensive probe replacement, the Attune NxT Autosampler automatically performs a probe self-calibration every month to help ensure consistent positioning of the probe within every well. The self-calibration verifies proper function of the probe, reduces variability in probe positioning over time to prevent failures during plate runs, and helps improve reliability over the life of the system. Self-calibration of the probe also allows the autosampler to be easily moved, so it can be shared between multiple instruments.

Broad compatibility
The Attune NxT Autosampler allows use of many different plate formats, including 96-, 384-, and deep-well plates, without being restricted to a single manufacturer. To maintain system flexibility, the manual sample probe is always accessible even when the loader is present, and switching between tubes and plates is as simple as a flip of a switch.

In addition, the Attune NxT Autosampler initiates automated cleaning procedures when the instrument is shutting down to help ensure proper maintenance with little user interaction.

Consistent data
Unlike other plate loaders that mix samples by shaking, which may not ensure homogeneity of the sample, the Attune NxT Autosampler mixes samples by aspiration, enabling uniform mixing while preserving sample viability and resulting in consistent data throughout the plate.

Simple to use
The instrument design and software were developed with customer ease-of-use in mind. The Attune NxT Autosampler has fluidic bottles with sensors that inform the user when the fluids need to be replaced. The autosampler’s indicator lights and warning systems have been designed to ensure that a user who has walked away from the system can easily see the system status at all times.

Setting up an experiment with the Attune NxT cytometric software is simple. Using a plate layout view, users can create compensation wells, define instrument settings, and identify samples. The intuitive software allows quick learning and data analysis. For example, a heat map view allows rapid screening and confirmation of samples while the instrument is acquiring data.

Attune™ NxT Automation Package, stacks Invitrogen™

This package provides all of the accessories that are needed to set up an automation line with the Attune NxT Acoustic Focusing Cytometer. Automation set up enables the running of plates on the instrument without an operator.

The Attune NxT Automation packages consist of an Attune NxT autosampler, Attune NxT External Fluid Supply, Orbitor RS2 Microplate with stacks, hotels, or combination, Attune NxT Automation SmartStor Sample Management System, and Attune NxT Focusing Fluid cubetainers.

The Attune NxT autosampler is a plate sampling device that allows samples in 96 or 384 standard or deep well format to be transferred to the flow cytometer for data acquisition. The Attune NxT External Fluid Supply facilitates the use of a larger buffer and waste container on the flow cytometer. It works by monitoring and supplying the internal fluid tanks on the Attune NxT cytometer so that the system can run without having to stop instrument operation to change out the fluid tanks or empty the waste.

The Orbitor RS2 Microplate Mover is an automation robot designed for use with the Attune NxT cytometer that enables flow cytometry in automated environments for increased sample throughput. This high-speed microplate mover has reliable performance with flexible plate handling and allows multiple stacked or high density instruments to be loaded in a small footprint. This mover has a built-in barcode reader for identification of plates.

The Attune NxT Automation SmartStor Sample Management System with presentation nest on the left-hand side allows for compatibility with the Attune NxT cytometer. The SmartStor system maintains temperature from 4 to 40°C and holds up to 20 standard-height microplates. An additional accessory can be purchased (Cat. No. A38244) to configure the system to hold up to nine hotels for deep well plate formats.

CytKick™ Max Extended Cooling Adaptor Invitrogen™

The CytKick Max Extended Cooling Adaptor is designed for use with the CytKick Max Autosampler and the Attune Acoustic Focusing Cytometer. This cooling block maintains samples at 2-15°C for 95-100 minutes while they are being analyzed on the instrument. The cooling adaptor is brought to temperature by placing it in a refrigerator overnight or in a freezer for a minimum of two hours prior to use. If this longer cooling time is not required, please see the CytKick Max Universal Cooling Adaptor, which cools samples for ~65 minutes.

CytKick™ Max Tube Cooling Rack Invitrogen™

The CytKick Max Tube Cooling Rack is designed for use with the CytKick Max Autosampler and the Attune Acoustic Focusing Cytometer. It allows sample uptake from 16 1.5- and 2.0-mL Eppendorf tubes without the need to remove the caps. This cooling rack maintains samples at 2-15°C for 108-120 minutes while they are being analyzed on the instrument. The rack is chilled by placing it in a refrigerator overnight prior to use. Attune™ Acoustic Focusing Cytometer Syringe Applied Biosystems™
