Useful for a variety of luminometric research applications, the Thermo Scientific Luminoskan Microplate Luminometer is a compact and robust instrument offering plate format versatility, fast reading speeds, and up to three dispensers. This instrument has passed validation at Promega Corporation to be certified as DLReady. In addition, the Luminoskan Microplate Luminometer is validated for Thermo Scientific Pierce luciferase assays. Luminoskan offers simplicity and reliability for increased efficiency of workflows.

High sensitivity for both top and bottom reading
The use of fiberless direct illumination optics for both top and bottom reading enables high sensitivity, a wide dynamic range, and low cross-talk for accurate and precise results in luminometric assays. The Luminoskan luminometer is certified as DLReady for excellent sensitivity.

The Luminoskan Microplate Luminometer is capable of reading a 96-well plate in just 18 seconds, essential for kinetic applications such as enzyme kinetic studies and phagocytosis assays.

Onboard dispensers for precise initiation of kinetic reactions
The Luminoskan Microplate Luminometer can be equipped with up to three reagent dispensers* for use during fast kinetic assays, such as Ca2+ flux assays. The onboard dispensers support simultaneous dispensing and reading, enabling the monitoring of fast kinetic measurements form the very start of the reaction. Very low dead volume and backflush capability support conservation of reagents.

With a visual workflow setup, SkanIt software is quick and easy to learn. It offers easy data analysis (with a comprehensive selection of built-in calculations, including blank subtraction, standard curve creation, classification, quality control, kinetic analysis) and exporting capabilities. Each user can install SkanIt software on his/her own computer to set up assays and analyze data.

Hand-Held Magnetic Plate Washer (Invitrogen™)

The Hand-Held Magnetic Plate Washer is designed for use with the ProcartaPlex assay configured for magnetic separation. The handheld magnetic separator enables you to remove the liquid contents of the 96-well plate by simply decanting or flicking the contents into a sink and blotting off the remainder on a paper towel.

Handheld Magnetic Plate Washer (Invitrogen™)

The Handheld Magnetic Plate Washer is used with QuantiGene Plex assays or ProcartaPlex assays for all magnetic bead washing steps. The washer enables users to remove the liquid contents of a 96-well plate while retaining the beads.

How it works
The Handheld Magnetic Plate Washer contains 96 magnets that pull and hold magnetic beads on the bottom of each well, allowing users to simply flick the wash buffer into a sink and blot the remainder on a paper towel.

What you get
The magnetic frame is white polycarbonate with a corrosion resistant plate seal below, both set on a polypropylene base. The clip system provided is capable of holding a variety of microplates. The ring on the base plate facilitates gripping for all sizes of hands.
