Reaction Vessel, 40 mL, RTF version (Applied Biosystems™)

A new style reaction vessel is now available for both the Models 430A and 431A Peptide Synthesizers. This new vessel uses tabbed filters which are placed on the recessed edge inside the vessel. The caps of the new vessel include an internal O-ring to back up the primary seal formed between the vessel, filter, and the cap. These vessels require changing the side of the vortexer bracket to accommodate the vessel and include a shielded vortexer bearing. These design changes address the known difficulties associated with the assembly of the reaction vessels.
