Oligo d(T)16 (50 µM) (Invitrogen™)

Invitrogen® Oligo d(T)16 is a homo-oligomeric deoxyribonucleotide (poly dT) that is non-phosphorylated and chemically synthesized. It is used for priming and reverse transcription of polyadenylated (poly A+) mRNA. Five nmoles of primer is supplied at a concentration of 50 µM.

Oligo (dT) Primer (50 µM) (Invitrogen™)

These are the same Ambion® primers that are currently included in the RETROscript® Kit (SKU# AM1710). They are provided at a stock concentration of 50 µM and are functionally tested using the RETROscript® Kit.

Oligo(dT)12-18 Primer (Invitrogen™)

Oligo(dT)12-18 Primer is suitable for use in first-strand cDNA synthesis with reverse transcriptase. The primer hybridizes to the poly(A) tail of mRNA. It is phosphorylated on the 5´ end to facilitate cloning of cDNA.

Performance and Quality Testing:
Performance is evaluated in a first-strand cDNA synthesis reaction.

T7-Oligo(dT)24V Promoter Primer, Anchored (100 ng/μl) (Invitrogen™)

For use in reverse transcription reactions to append a T7 RNA polymerase promoter to cDNA fragments. Each Ambion® primer is PAGE purified and performance tested in reverse transcription and subsequent in vitro transcription reactions. Promoter primers are anchored with a G, A, or C (V).

GeneChip™ T7-Oligo(dT) Promoter Primer Kit (Applied Biosystems™)

This reagent kit is an essential component of the eukaryotic target labeling procedure for expression analysis using GeneChip™ probe arrays. It contains 50 µM T7-Oligo(dT) promoter primer and RNase-free water.

Each T7-Oligo(dT) Promoter Primer Kit provides sufficient primer for 150 labeling reactions. All components are ready to be added directly to RNA samples to initiate the first strand cDNA synthesis reaction. This reagent kit has been tested, is quality assured, and is able to sustain at least twenty-five freeze-thaw cycles without compromise to its performance.

Anchored Oligo(dT)20 Primer (Invitrogen™)

Anchored Oligo(dT)20 Primer is a primer mixture consisting of a string of 20 deoxythymidylic acid residues followed by dV (either dG, dA, or dC) and then by dN (dA, dT, dG, or dC). Due to the variable end-sequence, the primer is anchored to the 5´-end of the poly(A) tail of mRNA and prevents priming within the poly(A) tail. Anchored Oligo(dT)20 Primer is recommended for use in cDNA labeling protocols and in RT-PCR.

Quality Control: This product is qualified in a first-strand cDNA synthesis reaction.

Used for first-strand cDNA synthesis with reverse transcriptase at temperatures of >=50°C, oligo(dT)20 primer is a string of 20 deoxythymidylic acid residues that hybridizes to the poly(A) tail of mRNA. Oligo(dT)20 is recommended for use with SuperScript® III Reverse Transcriptase, ThermoScript™ Reverse Transcriptase, or Cloned AMV Reverse Transcriptase.
