CTP Invitrogen™

dNTP Mix (10 mM each) Thermo Scientific™

Thermo Scientific dNTP Mix contains premixed aqueous solutions of dATP, dCTP, dGTP and dTTP, each at a final concentration of 10 mM. The nucleotides have greater than 99% purity, are free of nuclease activities, human and E. coli DNA. UTP Solution (100 mM) Thermo Scientific™

Thermo Scientific UTP (uridine 5'-triphosphate) is supplied as 100 mM aqueous solution titrated to pH 7.3-7.5 with NaOH. This highly stable nucleotide is more than 99% pure. You can use UTP in many molecular biology applications.

Invitrogen 10 mM dNTP Mix is a mixture of four nucleotides (dATP, dCTP, dGTP, dTTP) in 0.6 mM Tris-HCl. Cap Analog (m7G(5')ppp(5')G), 25 A254 Units Invitrogen™

Ambion® Cap Analog [m7G(5')ppp(5')G] is used for the synthesis of 5' capped RNA molecules in in vitro transcription reactions. These molecules are translated more efficiently in in vitro translation systems than uncapped mRNAs. 25 A254 U supplied. Substitution of cap analog for a portion of the GTP in an in vitro transcription reaction results in the incorporation of the cap structure into a corresponding fraction of the transcripts. Capped mRNAs are generally translated more efficiently in reticulocyte lysate and wheat germ in vitro translation systems. It is important that in vitro transcripts be capped for microinjection experiments because uncapped mRNAs are rapidly degraded. Cap analog is also used as a highly specific inhibitor of the initiation step of protein synthesis.

Quality Control:
Each Cap Analog is rigorously tested for contaminating nonspecific endonuclease, exonuclease, and RNase activity. Each is also assayed for the efficient synthesis of capped in vitro transcripts by using the cap analog in functional MEGAscript® In Vitro transcription and Retic Lysate translation reactions.

Biotin-11-dUTP Solution (1 mM) Thermo Scientific™

Thermo Scientific Biotin-11-dUTP (biotin-epsilon-aminocaproyl-[5-{3-aminoallyl}-2'-deoxyuridine-5'-triphosphate]) is supplied as 1 mM aqueous solution titrated to pH 7.0 with NaOH and is designed for enzymatic non-radioactive labelling of DNA.

Biotin-11-dUTP can be enzymatically incorporated into DNA with Reverse Transcriptases, Taq DNA Polymerase, phi29 DNA Polymerase, Klenow Fragment, exo-, Klenow Fragment, and DNA Polymerase I.

About Biotin-14-dCTP
Biotin-14-dCTP is a patented dCTP analog with biotin attached at the N4-position of the pyrimidine base by a 14-atom linker. This nucleotide can be efficiently incorporated into DNA by nick translation in the presence of dATP, dGTP, and dTTP, labeling DNA with terminal deoxynucleotide transferase, or random primer synthesis. The amount of material provided is sufficient for labeling up to 50 µg of DNA.

Performance and quality testing
Purity is evaluated by reverse-phase HPLC.

Biotin-14-dATP Invitrogen™

Biotin-14-dATP is a patented dATP analog with biotin attached at the 6-position of the purine base by a 14-atom linker. The long, 14-atom spacer arm allows accessibility to streptavidin for sensitive detection of probe-target hybrids in in situ and filter-based hybridizations. Biotin-14-dATP can be efficiently incorporated into DNA by nick translation in the presence of dCTP, dGTP, and dTTP (1). Biotin-14-dATP can be added to the 3´ end of DNA using terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase (2). The amount supplied is sufficient for labeling up to 50 µg of DNA by nick translation.

Performance and Quality Testing: Purity is evaluated by reverse-phase HPLC analysis.

5-(3-Aminoallyl)-UTP (50 mM) Invitrogen™

Ambion® Modified nucleotides confer unique characteristics to the RNA molecules into which they are incorporated. Incorporation of an aminoallyl–modified NTP, for example, allows for the subsequent coupling of the reactive amino group to another molecule such as biotin or a Cy™ dye. Supplied in one tube containing 50 mM (50 μL). Unlike NTPs directly coupled to a dye, aminoallyl–modified NTPs are incorporated almost as efficiently as unmodified NTPs and are much less expensive than dye-coupled NTPs.

Thermo Scientific Aminoallyl-dUTP (5-[3-aminoallyl]-2'-deoxyuridine-5'-triphosphate) is supplied as 10 mM and 50 mM aqueous solutions titrated to pH 7.0 with NaOH.

Aminoallyl-dUTP can be enzymatically incorporated into DNA with Reverse Transcriptases, Taq DNA polymerase, phi29 DNA Polymerase, Klenow Fragment, Klenow Fragment, exo- and DNA Polymerase I. The resulting amine-containing DNA can be subsequently labeled with any amine-reactive fluorescent dye, biotin or hapten.
