The Most Senitive Nucleic Acid Stain
E-Gel Go! precast agarose gels utilize the same highly sensitive nucleic acid stain as the E-Gel EX system. This proprietary stain has been specially formulated to provide the highest possible detection sensitivity. The stain in E-Gel Go! precast agarose gels can be visualized with traditional UV transilluminators, but for the very best results and highest sensitivity visible blue light should be used. When using blue light the bands must be viewed through an amber filter. Best of all, the E-Gel Go! Base that runs the E-Gel Go! precast agarose gels has an integrated blue light transilluminator and amber filter lid so you can watch your bands migrate in real time, or document your results right on the Base.

The Right Gel for the Job At Hand
E-Gel Go! precast agarose gels come in two agarose percentages, 1% and 2%. This allows you to choose the best gel for your specific application and size range of interest. For linear double stranded DNA fragments ranging from ~1.5kbp – 100bp in size the 2% gels offer excellent resolution and separation. When you need to resolve larger fragments, up to 4kbp the 1% gels are the optimal solution. In either case, E-Gel Go! precast agarose gels will yield sharp bands and repeatable, reliable results with unparalleled convenience.

Invitrogen E-Gel 96 high-throughput precast agarose gels with SYBR Safe DNA gel stain are designed for fast, convenient, and safe DNA sample electrophoresis. Each E-Gel agarose gel cassette contains all components and stain required for efficient gel separation and analysis—just load your samples and run.

The unique 96-well staggered-well format provides a 1.6-cm run length that resolves DNA fragments between 100 bp and 10 kb. Each gel contains 96 sample lanes and 8 marker lanes, ideal for screening multiple PCR products, plasmid preparations, and restriction digests. The E-Gel 96 loading format is compatible with multi-channel pipettors and the most commonly used 8-, 12-, and 96-pin liquid handling robots. With a 12-minute run time, up to 20,000 samples can be resolved in a single day.

Each cassette is individually labeled with an EAN39 bar code that is recognized by most commercially available robotic bar code readers.

E-Base devices
E-Base devices are specially designed for running high-throughput precast E-Gel 48, E-Gel 96, E-PAGE 48, and E-PAGE 96 gels. Each device features a small foot-print for space saving and a built-in power supply. The Mother E-Base Device comes with a power cord that can be connected directly to an electrical outlet and is used for electrophoresis of one gel. The Daughter E-Base Device connects to the Mother E-Base Device and to other Daughter E-Base devices for the simultaneous electrophoresis of two or more gels. The devices support pre-set programs for ease of use.

E-Gel™ 48 Agarose Gels with SYBR™ Safe DNA Gel Stain, 1% (Invitrogen™)

Invitrogen E-Gel 48 high-throughput precast agarose gels with SYBR Safe DNA gel stain are designed for fast, convenient, and safe DNA sample electrophoresis. Each E-Gel agarose gel cassette contains all components and stain required for efficient gel separation and analysis—just load your samples and run.

Each gel contains 48 sample wells and 4 marker wells in 1% or 2% high-resolution agarose with a 3.2-cm run length. The various agarose percentages are used to separate DNA fragments of different sizes:
• 1% agarose: DNA fragments between 400 bp and 10 kb
• 2% agarose: DNA fragments between 50 bp and 3 kb

Each cassette is individually labeled with an EAN39 bar code that is recognized by most commercially available robotic bar code readers.

Safer option
Choose SYBR Safe DNA stained gels to minimize exposure to hazardous and mutagenic factors such as ethidium bromide or UV. Precast E-Gel agarose gels with SYBR Safe, in combination with blue-light trans-illumination, offer better sample integrity and a safer work environment.

Unlike ethidium bromide, the DNA stain most commonly incorporated into agarose gels, SYBR Safe DNA Gel Stain is a non-toxic, non-mutagenic DNA stain that is safer for the user, safer for the environment, and can save institutional overhead costs for disposal.

Fast and convenient analysis
E-Gel agarose gels enable fast and high-performance analysis with a detection sensitivity of 2–3 ng of sample DNA per band and a separation time 2–3 fold faster than that of conventional pour-your-own gels.

Each E-Gel agarose gel contains agarose, electrodes, SYBR Safe DNA stain, and a buffer-less ion exchange system packaged inside a dry disposable cassette. E-Gel technology does not require any gel or buffer preparation or gel straining steps. Just load your samples and run.
