TrueMark™ Respiratory Panel 2.0 Amplification Control Applied Biosystems™

The TrueMark Respiratory Panel 2.0 Amplification Control contains a linearized multi-target plasmid with target sequences for each respiratory tract microbiota assay on the TrueMark Respiratory Panel 2.0, OpenArray plate and TrueMark Respiratory Panel 2.0, TaqMan array card. The control can be included in respiratory tract microbiota profiling experiments as a positive control for panel-specific amplification.

The plasmid also contains target sequences for TaqMan Universal RNA Spike In/Reverse Transcription (Xeno) Control, TaqMan Universal Extraction Control Organism (B. atrophaeus), and the human RNase P RPPH1 gene. In addition, the plasmid contains target sequences for additional qualified TaqMan assays for respiratory tract microbiota profiling that may be included on custom arrays or cards. The TrueMark Respiratory Panel 2.0 Amplification Control is supplied at a concentration of 1 x 105 copies/μL. During real-time PCR, the control can be used as a stand-alone sample to verify assay performance and to help with troubleshooting.

The GeneChip PrimeView Global Gene Expression Profile Assay enables expression profiling with an emphasis on established, well annotated content. More than 36,000 transcripts and variants are measured per sample. Sequences used in the design of the array were selected from the RefSeq version 36, UniGene database 219, and full-length human mRNAs from GenBank™.

About the PluriTest Assay
The PluriTest Assay is a bioinformatics assay that compares the transcriptional profile of a sample to an extensive reference set of >450 cell/tissue types, including 223 hESC lines, 41 iPSC lines, somatic cells, and tissues. The online analysis tool confirms pluripotency marker expression via two separate scores: Pluripotency and Novelty. The Pluripotency Score informs the user on how strongly a model-based pluripotency signature is expressed in the samples analyzed. The Novelty Score indicates the general model fit for a given sample.

This information is imported into the real-time PCR instrument to enable proper labeling of experimental data and easy access to Assay ID numbers for simple reordering.

Straightforward library preparation and multiplex sequencing with manual kit

Total RNA is first processed with the SuperScript VILO cDNA Synthesis Kit (not included), and the resulting cDNA is amplified using Ion AmpliSeq technology to accurately maintain expression levels of all genes.

TaqMan™ Array Human Protein Kinase Panel Applied Biosystems™

The Applied Biosystems® TaqMan® Human Protein Kinase Array is an efficient, easy-to-use micro fluidic card for quantitative gene expression analysis of human protein kinase genes important in drug discovery. This product is designed with TaqMan® Gene Expression Assays arrayed in singletons in 384 wells and is compatible with an upgraded Applied Biosystems 7900HT Fast Real-Time PCR System.

The Human Protein Kinase Array contains assays for 68 human kinases. Fifty-three of the 68 kinases are from receptor protein-tyrosine kinase (RPTK) families: EGFR, InsulinR, PDGFR, VEGFR, FGFR, CCK, NGFR, HGFR, EPHR, AXL, TIE, RYK, DDR, RET, ROS, LTK, ROR and MUSK. Real-time PCR enables sensitive and specific detection of pathogen nucleic acid in animal samples, allowing for reliable and rapid screening and detection of infected animals.

The LSI VetMAX™ kits include:

• 1 ready-to-use mix that includes a set of oligonucleotides for detection of the target gene OR these separate components that will need to be mixed together: a set of oligonucleotides for the detection of the target gene + a TaqMan® real-time PCR master mix + an RT enzyme (only for RNA kits).
• 1 external positive control of the same nature as the target (inactivated bacteria or virus). Use as a quality control for PCR and/or extraction yield.
• 1 internal positive control (exogenous) to be added at the time of extraction. Use as a quality control for extraction yield.
• A quality control certificate.

These 96-well plates are pre-configured with the most appropriate TaqMan® Gene Expression Assays for a specific biological process, pathway, or disease state. Each plate contains predefined assays and endogenous controls dried-down in the wells, ready for accurate assessment of an entire gene signature in one simple experiment. The TaqMan® Array Human HOX Genes 96-well Plate contains 92 assays to HOX associated genes and 4 assays to candidate endogenous control genes.
