ZOOM™ Equilibration Trays Invitrogen™

ZOOM® Equilibration Trays are convenient, disposable trays designed for use with the ZOOM® IPGRunner™ Cassettes to perform equilibration of ZOOM® Strips after first-dimension isoelectric focusing and prior to second-dimension (2D) SDS-PAGE (Figure 1).

The ZOOM® Equilibration Trays simplify the equilibration and incubation process in 2D electrophoresis and offer following advantages:

Preserve protein gels easily and economically while eliminating distortion problems common in other drying procedures. Thermo Scientific™ Owl™ Gel-Drying Kits provide an inexpensive and simple way to produce a permanent record of gels by air drying them between two sheets of cellophane.

DryEase™ Mini-Gel Drying System Invitrogen™

The DryEase® Mini-Gel Drying System is a simple, easy-to-use kit that dries gels evenly using passive evaporation. The kit allows gels to be assembled on a base between two open frames, so that both outer surfaces of the gels are exposed to air. Consequently, drying is even and cracking is minimized. The proprietary Gel-Dry™ Drying Solution modulates the rate of water release to ensure crack-free gels. With the DryEase® System, gels are dried overnight with uniform tension on all points of the gel to eliminate cracking. All components of the system are available for purchase separately.

Applications: Gels dried with the DryEase® System are suitable for fluorography, densitometry, autoradiography, or permanent gel storage.

Large Gel Drying Kit Invitrogen™

The Large Gel Drying Kit dries gels using the same principal components as the DryEase® Mini-Gel Drying System, but can accommodate larger format gels or four mini-gels. A base is not required for assembly.

StainEase™ Staining Trays Invitrogen™

The StainEase¤ Gel Staining Tray is a convenient way to evenly stain mini-gels and prevent gels from breaking. The staining tray assembly includes a perforated strainer insert that holds the gel and drains away the stain, a lid, and an outer container in which stains and solutions can be changed without having to handle the gel. Easily fits up to four mini-gels.
