Spectra™ UTI/Sheep Blood Biplate Thermo Scientific™

Thermo Scientific™ Remel Spectra UTI/Sheep Blood is a chromogenic medium for isolation, differentiation and presumptive identification of pathogenic microorganisms associated with urinary tract infections.

Brilliance™ CampyCount Agar Thermo Scientific™

Accurately, specifically and easily enumerate Campylobacter jejuni and C. coli from poultry and related samples using Thermo Scientific™ Brilliance™ CampyCount Agar. The transparent medium, on which Campylobacter produce distinct dark red colonies, makes identification and enumeration significantly easier than on traditional charcoal or blood-containing agar. The transparency of the medium also allows enumeration using plate readers for even greater efficiency.

Spectra™ UTI Medium Thermo Scientific™

Isolate, enumerate and presumptively identify common organisms associated with urinary tract infections within 16 to 24 hours using Thermo Scientific™ Spectra™ UTI. Organisms are differentiated through the utilization of one or more chromogens and/or Tryptophan. Interpretation is aided by the inclusion of an opaque background, providing a distinct contrast against the seven diagnostic colors of colony growth.

Spectra™ VRE Medium Thermo Scientific™

Improve the prevention and control of VRE in healthcare settings by rapidly and reliably isolating and presumptively identifying vancomycin-resistant Enterococcus (VRE) within 24 hours, direct from sample, using Thermo Scientific™ Spectra™ VRE. Vancomycin-resistant Enterococcus faecium and Enterococcus faecalis are differentiated through the utilization of two separate chromogens. Interpretation is aided through the inclusion of a semi-opaque background, providing a distinct visual contrast against light blue and indigo colonies.
