Dynabeads™ anti-E. coli O157 (Applied Biosystems™)

Dynabeads E. coli anti-O157 is a tool for better sample preparation and improved cell culture and immuno-based assays for E. coli O157:H7 in food, feces, water and other environmental samples. Based on well-known and widely used immunomagnetic separation (IMS) technology, Dynabeads E. coli anti-O157 provides a useful means to selectively capture E. coli O157:H7 and better prepare samples for effective analysis.

With Dynabeads anti-E. coli O157, you will:

• Isolate and concentrate E. coli O157:H7 from samples in as little as 24 hours
• Improve detection sensitivity in cell culture and immunoassays of samples
• Perform either manual or automated (using the Thermo Scientific KingFisher mL Food Protection Purification System) separations

MPC™-6 (Magnetic Particle Concentrator)

The MPC®-6 (Magnetic Particle Concentrator) holds six tubes with variable diameters (10–30 mm). Optimal working volume: 5–15 mL. Magnetic particle concentrators are designed to obtain optimal binding of Dynabeads® with targets (e.g., cells, proteins, and nucleic acids).

Dynabeads™ EPEC/VTEC O145 (Applied Biosystems™)

For the rapid selective concentration of E.coli O145. Method can be performed manually or can be automated by using a BeadRetriever.

This Product Contains: Dynabeads coated with anti-E.coli O145 antibodies

Sensitivity: Sensitivity is very high and enables detection of 1 viable organism in 25g of sample or as few as 100 organisms / ml after pre enrichment

Dynabeads™ MX1 Mixer (Applied Biosystems™)

The Dynabeads® MX1 Mixer combines Dynabeads® MX Mixer Base (Cat. No. 159-02), Mixer Turret (Cat. No. 159-06), and 12-tube Mixing Head (Cat. No. 159-03). Designed for sample tubes ranging from 1.5 ml (microcentrifuge) to 1.7 mm diameter.

Dynabeads® MX mixers provide continuous gentle motion to obtain optimal binding of Dynabeads® with targets (e.g., cells, proteins, nucleic acids). Inter-changeable heads accommodate different tube sizes and sample volumes.

Dynabeads™ MX 12-tube Mixing Wheel (Applied Biosystems™)

Attachment for Dynabeads® MX Mixer Base (Cat. No. 159-02). Designed to hold 12 sample tubes ranging from 1.5 ml (microcentrifuge) to 1.7 mm diameter. Requires use of Mixer Turret (Cat. No. 159-06) to affix to Mixer Base.

KingFisher™ mL Food Protection Purification System Tube Rack (Applied Biosystems™)

Tube-sample rack, designed of use with the KingFisher mL Food Protection Purification System. The Tube Rack contains fifteen separate sample tube slots. Tubes for sample processing on the KingFisher mL Food Protection Purification System available separately (Cat. No. 159-51).

Dynabeads™ MX4 Mixer (Applied Biosystems™)

The Dynabeads® MX4 Mixer combines Dynabeads® MX Mixer Base (Cat. No. 159-02) and MPC®-S Mixing Head (Cat. No. 159-11). Designed to hold two MPC®-S sample racks (Cat. No. A13346); capacity up to 12 microcentrifuge tubes.

Dynabeads® MX mixers provide continuous gentle motion to obtain optimal binding of Dynabeads® with targets (e.g., cells, proteins, nucleic acids). Variable speed (5-40 rpm). Can be operated in both cold and warm conditions (4-37°C). Inter-changeable heads accommodate different tube sizes and sample volumes.

Flat-sided reusable glass tubes necessary for optimal recovery of cysts/oocysts during magnetic separation with the MPC-1 or MPC-6 magnetic particle concentrators when using Dynabeads® anti-Cryptosporidium or Dynabeads® GC-Combo.

Attachment for Dynabeads® MX Mixer Base (Cat. No. 159-02). Designed to connect the Mixer Base with the 12-tube Mixing Head (Cat. No. 159-03) or 8-tube Mixing Head (Cat. No. 159-04).

KingFisher™ mL Food Protection Purification System (Thermo Scientific™)

Carry out rapid purification and concentration of selected targets from a broad range of pre-enriched food samples with the Thermo Scientific KingFisher mL Food Protection Purification System. Combined with Dynabeads immuno-magnetic separation (IMS) products, the system provides an optimized solution for the purification of microorganisms prior to detection using methods such as PCR, ELISA, and agar plates.

Features of the KingFisher mL Food Protection Purification System include:
• Protocols included for E. Coli 0157, EPEC/VTEC, listeria, and salmonella
• Automated processing of up to 15 samples in ~40 min
• High reproducibility and maximum performance of capture technology

The system-of-choice for processing volumes up to 1 mL, this magnetic particle processor enables all purification steps in a single-strip of five tubes, and supports 15 processed samples per run. Dynabeads™ MPC™-S (Magnetic Particle Concentrator) (Applied Biosystems™)

Our Magnetic Particle Concentrators (MPC®) enable optimal binding of Dynabeads® magnetic beads with their targets (e.g., cells, proteins, and nucleic acids) in a variety of starting samples. The MPC®-S was designed specifically for microbiology applications; it has been validated with select Dynabeads® for enrichment of E. coli O157:H7, Salmonella, non-O157 STEC, Cryptosporidium, and Giardia. The MPC®-S can be used with both food enrichment samples types as well as water samples. It holds up to six microcentrifuge tubes and has an optimal working volume range of 20 µl–2 ml.
