IGF1R Recombinant Human Protein (without Catalytic Activity Domain), His Tag

Insulin-like growth factor 1 receptor (IGF1R), recombinant human protein is supplied as a lyophilized powder. It is suitable for use in protein studies such as protein structure analysis and protein-protein interactions. In general, recombinant proteins can also be used as an immunogen, as a protein standard, or in cell biology research applications.

Since this product is a truncated protein and does not contain intracellular catalytic activity domain, it is not suitable for use in enzyme activity studies..

This recombinant protein was expressed from a DNA sequence encoding the extracellular domain (Met 1-Asn 932) of human IGF1R precursor (NP_000866.1) fused to a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus.

Activity: Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. Immobilized human IGF1R-His at 2 µg/well can bind biotinylated recombinant human IGF1 with a linear range of 0.16-0.8 µg/ml.

Formulation: Lyophilized in PBS, pH7.4, 5% Mannitol, 5% Trehalose, and 0.02% Tween-80.

Reconstitution: Dissolve the protein in sterile double distilled water to a concentration of 0.2 mg/ml or lower. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted and be used as soon as possible. Store aliquots under sterile conditions at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Expiration Date: Expires one year from date of receipt when stored as instructed.
