High Purity Recombinant Bioactive Protein
Recombinant Human Chemokine (C-X-C motif) ligand 1 is one of our more than 250 available Gibco® recombinant proteins. To help ensure Gibco® growth factors are of the highest quality, each protein is analyzed for purity along with structural homogeneity to ensure a biologically active protein.

High Biological Activity
In-house activity testing of Gibco® Recombinant Proteins includes cell proliferation, cytotoxicity, chemotaxis, calcium flux, secondary cytokine up-regulation, induction of surface antigen expression, antiviral, and protease assays. Recombinant Human Chemokine (C-X-C motif) ligand 1 (CXCL1, GROα) specific activity is determined by measuring the dose dependent mobilization of intracellular calcium (calcium flux) with human neutrophils.

Proven Compatibility
Gibco® proteins are bioassayed with Gibco® media. Since 1962, Gibco® has been the consistent provider of high quality media, reagents, and sera for reliable cell culture.

RANTES Recombinant Human Protein (Gibco™)

Recombinant RANTES is a bioactive protein intended for use in cell culture applications. RANTES functions as a chemoattractant for blood monocytes, memory T helper cells and eosinophils. It causes the release of histamine from basophils and activates eosinophils. RANTES is one of the major HIV-suppressive factors produced by CD8+ cells. It functions as one of the natural ligands for the chemokine receptor CCR5 and it suppresses in vitro replication of the R5 strains of HIV-1, which use CCR5 as a coreceptor.

Midkine (MK) Recombinant Human Protein (Gibco™)

Recombinant Midkine is a bioactive protein intended for use in cell culture applications. Midkine is involved in a number of biological processes including the migration of neutrophils, inflammatory leukocytes and macrophages, neuronal cells, and osteoclasts.

TECK Recombinant Human Protein (Gibco™)

Recombinant TECK is a bioactive protein intended for use in cell culture applications. TECK displays chemotactic activity for dendritic cells, thymocytes, and activated macrophages but is inactive on peripheral blood lymphocytes and neutrophils.

CXCL2 (GROβ) Recombinant Human Protein (Gibco™)

Recombinant CXCL2 (Gro-β) is a bioactive protein intended for use in cell culture applications. CXCL2 is a chemokine that induces the infiltration of neutrophils.

SDF1A Recombinant Human Protein (Gibco™)

Recombinant SDF1A is a bioactive protein intended for use in cell culture applications. SDF1A is a small cytokine that belong to the intercrine family, members of which activate leukocytes and are often induced by proinflammatory stimuli such as lipopolysaccharide, TNF, or IL-1.

IL8 Monocyte Recombinant Human Protein (Gibco™)

Recombinant IL8 Monocyte is a bioactive protein intended for use in cell culture applications. IL8 is chemotactic for all known types of migratory immune cells. IL8 also inhibits the adhesion of leukocytes to activated endothelial cells.

IP10 Recombinant Human Protein (Gibco™)

Recombinant IP10 is a bioactive protein intended for use in cell culture applications. IP10 is a chemokine of the CXC subfamily and ligand for the receptor CXCR3. Binding of this protein to CXCR3 results in pleiotropic effects, including stimulation of monocytes, natural killer and T-cell migration, and modulation of adhesion molecule expression.

SDF1B Recombinant Human Protein (Gibco™)

Recombinant SDF1B is a bioactive protein intended for use in cell culture applications. SDF1B is a small cytokine that belong to the intercrine family, members of which activate leukocytes and are often induced by proinflammatory stimuli such as lipopolysaccharide, TNF, or IL-1.

IL8 Recombinant Swine Protein (Gibco™)

Recombinant IL8 is a bioactive protein intended for use in cell culture applications. IL8 is chemotactic for all known types of migratory immune cells. IL8 also inhibits the adhesion of leukocytes to activated endothelial cells.

MCP-2 Recombinant Mouse Protein (Gibco™)

Recombinant MCP-2 is a bioactive protein intended for use in cell culture applications. MCP-2 is structurally related to the CXC subfamily of cytokines. Members of this subfamily are characterized by two cysteines separated by a single amino acid. This cytokine displays chemotactic activity for monocytes, lymphocytes, basophils and eosinophils.

BCA-1 (CXCL13) Recombinant Human Protein (Gibco™)

Recombinant BCA-1 (CXCL13) is a bioactive protein intended for use in cell culture applications. Recombinant human BCA-1 is intended for use in cell culture applications. BCA-1 is involved in chemotaxis of B-lymphocytes.

MCP-1 (JE) Recombinant Mouse Protein (Gibco™)

Recombinant MCP-1 (JE) is a bioactive protein intended for use in cell culture applications. MCP-1 is structurally related to the CXC subfamily of cytokines. Members of this subfamily are characterized by two cysteines separated by a single amino acid. This cytokine displays chemotactic activity for monocytes and basophils but not for neutrophils or eosinophils.

MDC (STCP 1) Recombinant Human Protein (Gibco™)

Recombinant MDC (STCP 1) is a bioactive protein intended for use in cell culture applications. MDC displays chemotactic activity for monocytes, dendritic cells, natural killer cells and for chronically activated T lymphocytes. It also displays a mild activity for primary activated T lymphocytes and has no chemoattractant activity for neutrophils, eosinophils and resting T lymphocytes.
