IL4 (Interleukin 4) CTS™ Recombinant Human Protein (Gibco™)

Recombinant IL4 is a bioactive protein intended for use in cell culture applications. IL4 promotes the proliferation and differentiation of activated B cells. In addition, IL4 up-regulates class II MHC antigen expression and IgE receptors. ED50 = 0.05 to 0.4 ng⁄mL (Specific Activity: 2.0 x 10^7 to 2.5 x 10^6 units⁄mg). The biological activity is determined by measuring the dose-dependent proliferation of human TF-1 cells. A concentration range of 0.1 to 10.0 ng⁄mL is effective for most in vitro applications.

The activity of our IL6 CTS™ Recombinant Human growth factor is determined by the dose-dependent proliferation of mouse B9 cells to have an ED50 range of 0.008–0.02 ng/mL (specific activity: 1.25 × 10^8–5.0 × 10^7 units/mg). Optimal concentration for individual applications should be determined by a dose response assay.

IL33 Recombinant Mouse Protein (Gibco™)

Recombinant IL33 is a bioactive protein intended for use in cell culture applications. IL33 is a proinflammatory cytokine with structural homology similar with IL-1 family cytokines. IL33 exerts its biological effects by binding to the receptor ST2 and forming a complex with IL-1 Receptor Accessory Protein. Intracellular proteins within in the NF-κB and MAP kinase signaling pathways are activated leading to the production of the type 2 cytokines IL-5 from polarized TH2 cells.

Recombinant IFN-γ is a bioactive protein intended for use in cell culture applications. Recombinant rat IFN-γ is intended for use in cell culture applications. IFN-γ is involved in many biological processes such as inducing the secretion of TNF-α and stimulating the release of reactive oxygen species from macrophages. It is also involved with bone growth and inhibits bone reesorption. It is antiviral and antiparasitic and inhibits the proliferation of cells.

Leptin acts through the leptin receptor and functions as part of a signaling pathway that can inhibit food intake and/or regulate energy expenditure to maintain constancy of the adipose mass. Recombinant IL7 is a bioactive protein intended for use in cell culture applications. IL7 stimulates the proliferation of pre-B and pro-B cells. IL7 also supports the maturation of megakaryocytes. ED50 range = 0.2 to 1 ng⁄mL (Specific Activity: 5.0 x 10^6 to 1.0 x 10^6 units⁄mg), determined by the dose dependent proliferation of human PBMCs. Optimal concentration for individual application should be determined by a dose response assay.

IL20 Recombinant Human Protein (Gibco™)

Recombinant IL20 is a bioactive protein intended for use in cell culture applications. There are two heterodimeric receptor complexes for IL20. The first is composed of IL20 Ra and IL20 Rb. The second is composed of IL-22 R and IL20b. IL20 induces the proliferation of multipotential hematopoietic progenitor cells, directs the differentiation and expansion of keratinocytes, and promotes the release of proinflammatory mediators in keratinocytes and other cells expressing the IL20 receptor.

TRAIL Recombinant Human Protein (Gibco™)

Recombinant Human TRAIL is a bioactive protein intended for use in cell culture applications. TRAIL preferentially induces apoptosis in transformed and tumor cells, but does not appear to kill normal cells although it is expressed at a significant level in most normal tissues. The binding of this protein to its receptors has been shown to trigger the activation of MAPK8/JNK, caspase 8, and caspase 3.
