The Gibco CTS Rotea Hi-Flow Single-Use Kit is part of the Gibco CTS Rotea Counterflow Centrifugation System. The kit is capable of flow rates of 30-160 mL/min. Each kit can perform a wide range of cell processing steps, making ideal for wash & concentrate, separation, isolation, and more. The single-use kit provides flexibility for process development and easily supports commercial scale manufacturing. Each kit is compatible with sterile luer connectors or thermal welding.

The Gibco CTS Rotea Single-Use Kit is part of the Gibco CTS Rotea Counterflow Centrifugation System. The kit is capable of flow rates of 5–110 mL/min (see 'Hi-Flow' kit for higher rates). Each kit can perform a wide range of cell processing steps, making it ideal for wash & concentrate, separation, isolation, and more. The single-use kit provides flexibility for process development and easily supports commercial-scale manufacturing. Each kit is compatible with sterile luer connectors or thermal welding.

The Gibco CTS Rotea Counterflow Centrifugation System is a closed, modular, cell processing system specifically developed for cell therapy manufacturing, all in a compact footprint. The system includes the CTS Rotea Counterflow Centrifuge and CTS Rotea Software.

CTS Rotea Counterflow Centrifugation System components include a touchscreen laptop and CTS Rotea software, which is available for download from the Thermo Fisher website. CTS Rotea GUI Software controls the CTS Rotea Counterflow Centrifuge. The GUI’s open design allows users to view cells and modify centrifuge parameters in real-time. CTS Rotea Protocol Builder allows users to save, create, and modify custom protocols depending on application. CTS Rotea Simulation Software simulates protocols without running an instrument, calculating required bag volumes and run times. CTS Rotea Process Model determines which parameters are best to process different types of cells in a range of solutions.

The CTS Rotea System allows high equipment utilization through separation of rapid process steps, such as cell separation and wash & concentrate, from lengthy process steps, such as cell expansion. CTS Rotea Software can connect to a 21 CFR Part 11–compliant or MES/LIS software system via OPCUA interface.

The QuantiGene Sample Processing Kit for cultured cells contains our proprietary lysis mixture, proteinase K, and detailed instructions for preparing cell lysates from cultured cells.

Success in cell lysis
Key factors that influence the complete lysis of the cells include:
• The lysis mixture
• Proteinase K
• Vortexing or pipetting of the sample
• Storage of the lysates at -80°C
• Incubation at 50°C

The protocols provided with the QuantiGene Sample Processing Kit for cultured cells use a combination of these factors to ensure complete lysis of the samples. In addition, the lysis mixture provides the proper ionic conditions for the overnight hybridization in the QuantiGene assays.

CaptureSelect affinity ligands are created using a proprietary technology based on camelid-derived single-domain antibody fragments.
