About the Energy Transition Network

This Energy Transition Network aims to develop the future talent pipeline and the science needed for clean energy goals. It brings together experts from the University of Chicago, regional national labs, and industry in a collaborative environment to advance energy solutions. The University of Chicago Pritzker School of Molecular Engineering and Argonne National Laboratory house the largest concentration of energy science experts. Their energy technologies initiative accelerates the energy transition with cost-effective, scalable innovations, translating research from the lab to the market.

Energy Storage Research Alliance (ESRA)

Thermo Fisher Scientific partners with the University of Chicago and Y. Shirley Meng in the Energy Storage Research and Application (ESRA) consortium, established in 2023. ESRA unites experts from national labs, universities, and industry to advance energy storage discovery and commercialization.
