Amira-Avizo 3D Software Download Page
IMPORTANT: Make sure to have administrator rights in order to install Amira-Avizo.
The following applications are included in the Amira-Avizo installers:
– Windows: Amira3D, Avizo3D, Avizo for Industrial Inspection, ToGo Viewer Software for Amira and Avizo Software, SMSConverter
These applications run on: Microsoft Windows® 10 and Microsoft Windows® 11 (64-bit). Testing on Windows® versions older than Windows® 10 has been discontinued.
– Linux: Amira3D, Avizo3D, ToGo Viewer Software for Amira and Avizo Software, SMSConverter
These applications run on: Linux® x86_64 (64-bit). Supported 64-bit architecture is Intel64/AMD64 architecture. Supported Linux distribution is Ubuntu 20.04 (64-bit PC desktop image).

Flexnet Server
If you are using Floating Licenses, managed by a FlexNet License Server, make sure to have installed version 11.16.6 or higher of the FlexNet tools on your system.

ToGo Viewer Software for Amira and Avizo Software Publisher extension is included in Avizo Software 3D Pro, Amira Software 3D Pro, Avizo Software 3D for Industrial Inspection and Amira Software 3D for Cell Biology. This extension allows you to publish the results of your analysis using a special Avizo Software Data Format with all the project data in a single file. This file can then be opened by the free ToGo Viewer Software, allowing you to share the dataset in an interactive way with colleagues and customers who do not have a full version of Amira-Avizo Software. You need to make sure that your security settings allow installation of Amira, which does not come through the Apple Store. To allow installation of Amira, just right-click on the installer and select Open.
If the package installation fails, please open a terminal window, navigate to the directory where you downloaded the installer, then run the command:
sudo installer -allowUntrusted -pkg "Amira-202031-MacOSX-clang70.pkg" -target /
